When I asked her what is her utopia she could not answer. Just tell me you are bitter because someone you know struggled in high school 20 years ago so we can move on.

I've pointed this out before. When I was at A&M the Battalion ran a front page article on how Prairie View A&M is much more diverse than College Station because their campus is over 70% black. While main campus was roughly similar to the state population except white students were about 10% lower than the general population, with that difference made up mostly in black and Hispanic students.

The only way that proves that prairie view was more diverse is if you define diverse as "having more black students"

The argument from the early days of radio and TV is that there should be a media outlet that isn't beholden to corporate advertising. For example, you don't want a news station stifling a story about tobacco causing cancer because their largest advertiser is RJ Reynolds. That is what drove the creation of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. They provide grants for the programming and partially support the broadcasters.
