Technically, Merchan can sentence him today under NY law. Now will Merchan do that without a pre-sentencing report? I'm spitballin' here, IF Merchan was not intending to send Trump to jail, instead a suspended sentence, he might rule today. Highly doubt it though.

If Merchan truly wants to send him to Rikkers Island, he'll need that presentencing report.

There is no other candidate. We knew the outcome of this case long ago and had a bonafide successful conservative run and he couldn't make a dent.

Trump will likely win in November unless people were waiting on this outcome. Most trump voters accept him for who he is, whether that includes felon or not.
