The charges are for falsifying business records and they are implying election interference. The DA hasn't actually revealed what the secondary charges are just implied it to be election interference which the DA has no authority to charge.

And by the way these claims of falsifying business records happened in 2017 after the election was over and Trump was already sworn in. That's another absurdity of the implication that he did it to influence the election.
