How many parents buy kids cell phones then said kids kill a family from texting while driving? We have laws to not text while driving…. same as laws to not murder.
How many parents buy kids fast cars and said kids kill a family from a car wreck while racing? We have traffic laws in place to prevent that as well.

It is better to be a rich absentee parent whose kid kills people than these two who didn't lock up their gun

Again, there are mistakes made here by this administrator. In fact, I bet some of it was because of a sensitivity around the student's race. Why would the child be left in school if witnesses said he had a gun? For this, I see guilt.

But, we need to know the effect this will have all across the country. Why would you become a teacher or principal or adoptive parent or volunteer for any of these things now?
