I work in the IC. Today 3 grown men were seriously talking about how going bowling and going to places like Disneyland should be subsidized by the gov't. The basis for the bowling alleys were due to they were too many shutting down driving the prices up. According to their conversation, Disneyland was so expensive that mostly old people could afford to go.

These men have worked for the govt for 20 years. I have been working in DC for almost a year now. The people here are just whacked. They believe that any increase in taxation will come off the back of "the Rich", that they are for the govt for spending more, and are just clueless about the open border and the 10's of million illegal now living here.

When I watch them and others here is is like they react to a tv reality show about life and nothing is real. I still see people driving around in mask with them only in the car.

The one thing they all have in common is their level of intensity when Trump is mentioned. It is like their private part are wired to a cattle prod.

A year or so ago I was traveling near the DC corridor and there was a radio station and news network dedicated to federal employees. Listen to that for 30 minutes and ye will abandon all hope.

I wore an Army uniform at least one weekend a month for ~25 years, 4 years active. MI guys were always a little bit off/weird. Goes with the territory.

People who think this way don't have the faintest inking that copying Venezuela could have the same results.

Government needs to broken up like Bell Telephone. It's a monopoly that has no concept of what it means to work for a living.

Just saw a video at a college campus where a student was asked at what should be done to stop climate change and his answer was that all farming should be stopped.
