Donald Trump is coming out with his own personally endorsed Bible ahead of Easter. While I think prayer is great and helps many, this seems quite odd for a person that is not known to be religious in the smallest bit.

I guess everyone can find or sell Jesus.

If Trump blatantly pandering to the religious right is not a political topic, I do not know what it is.

That was my assessment and why worth discussing, this is giving me the hibbies jibbies for the obvious reasons that the man couldn't quote a meaningful passage or talk about the impact of God or Jesus on his life.

Somebody might get some good out of a Bible laying around. Rather have somebody get a taste of God then go and explore more and find the truth than somebody get smothered with LGBTQ literature and persuasion.

In two weeks he's going on trial for financial crimes for paying off a porn star he committed adultery with while his third wife was recovering from pregnancy. And he's out hawking a bible/constitution mash up the week of Easter.

I feel like we are living in a simulation. I wish we had a time machine to go back to the 80s, run this fact scenario by Reagan and get his response.
