Not a sarcastic phrase in the least. But people in effect do and say that kind of ****, and do and act that way, and then people find out they had been scammed by a person purporting to be a spiritual leader and that does the opposite of validate the statement Christ is King.

Yup, it might be. Goodness gracious. Put down TexAgs for a few minutes.
You made a lot of assumption as to why she tweets, and what it means. Just saying. You give the least charitable interpretation possible. Accusing someone of racism is one of the worst things you can do to a person. None of that is antisemitic. Even if she was directly pointing out that Jews don't accept Christ, that is a correct thing to do. I think those things need to be pointed out and said.hph6203 said:
Nope. Not what they're saying. And it's your lack of engagement, lack of criticality, lack of interest in hearing a counter explanation that leads you to that conclusion.
When Ben Shapiro goes into a private event and says negative things about Candace Owens' behavior and that gets recorded, posted, and she starts her day by saying:
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
She's not saying Christ lead me. She's saying **** that Jew Boy that pays me and said bad things about me.
When Shapiro respond to that and says you're free to quit at any time, I.e. we will gladly let you out of your contract he's recognizing what she's doing.
When she then posts quickly after that "Christ is King" she's not saying Christ is King she's saying everyone that reads this hate Shapiro for being Jewish and by the nature of his religion he denies the divinity of Christ and all the Jew haters go tell him what a dirty obnoxious Christ hating Jew he is.
That is not espousing the divinity of Christ it's "I don't like this guy that I work for, I can't say it directly or publicly because I do serve money, so I'll be passive aggressive and call the midwits and antisemites to do it for me."

DW needs to be called out IMO. It was not used in an antisemitic way IMO. It was not used in vain IMO.
TxAgPreacher said:That's not what she was doing.BQRyno said:
This is not meant to argue with you, but I think it needs to be pointed out that something can both be true and used wrongly/sacrilegiously/etc. One example from the Andrew Klavan video above is Satan quoting scripture to Jesus. Using truth in an attempt to do evil is one of the most twisted things that can be done. I think that's what's meant above by breaking a commandment - using (or carrying) the name of the Lord in vain.
I said unless you're doing it in a mocking sarcastic way.

It might be. On Monday before being fired, she liked a tweet asking if a rabbi was drunk on Christian blood. She was clearly being intentionally provocative.
She was pushed to defend herself after a relentless attack for years. I didn't see that tweet, and I wouldn't do that.
You mean to tell me that when she says Christ is King to someone she knows disagrees with the statement, that somehow that is considered blasphemy, a sin that cannot be forgiven? That's a strong accusation when you don't know her intentions.Quote:
Exodus 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
Mk 3:28-29. 28 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"
I'm glad you said might be, because that's a horrible accusation. Calling someone racist is a horrible thing to say if not true. I don't think she hates Jews.
I think this is more of a free speech issue. You should be able to say Christ is King without a conservative media group, or conservatives in general being triggered. You should be able to use it however you want.
For a group of people against cancel culture, accusing people of RACISMS!!!!!! seems hypocritical. Shapiro and the DW call everyone antisemitic over anything they disagree with. Shapiro called Ron Paul an antisemite for criticizing the federal reserve. This has to stop. We have to stop canceling people for mild criticism of Jews.

That is a narrow way of deciding how Christ's name can/can't be used for evil and she absolutely has used it in a way to achieve her ends rather than his. Sarcasm is a contra statement, you can also do it in a manner where the ends are not for Christ's purpose, but your own.
"Christ is King and he wants me to have this mansion and if you want to prove the holy power of Christ you'll subscribe to my weekly newsletter for $10/mo so I can enrich your life with my interpretations of the word and buy that mansion and prove that his power is limitless."
Not a sarcastic phrase in the least. But people in effect do and say that kind of ****, and do and act that way, and then people find out they had been scammed by a person purporting to be a spiritual leader and that does the opposite of validate the statement Christ is King.
People are not saying that though. They are saying you can't say Christ is King as a weapon, or a way to fight spiritual warfare to expose those who don't agree with the statement.
That makes me actually angry. I find it to be some weird form of gatekeeping trying to get people to stop doing the right thing.
DW needs to be called out IMO. It was not used in an antisemitic way IMO. It was not used in vain IMO.
DW needs to be called out for what? For internet speculation about why they decided to fire someone?
He created the Never Trump movement. I don't think he is America First. For calling mild criticism of Jew's or Israel anti semitic constantly. For gatekeeping. For deplatforming, and trying to get other conservatives fired. For retweeting the ADL. I'm sure there is much much more.Quote:

Also Ben: Here is the bottom line: If you believe that the Jewish
state has a right to exist,
then you must allow Israel to transfer the Palestinians
and the Israeli-Arabs from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and
Israel proper. It's an ugly solution, but it is the
only solution. And it is far less ugly than the
prospect of bloody conflict ad
infinitum.
A wall for Israel, but a candidate comes along and campaigns on the same polices in our country and he is suddenly against it?Quote:
He created the Never Trump movement.
JFC there were TONS of people that wouldn't vote for him back then.
Looky here....
Being someone that was marginally known in 2016 vs the two Bush former POTUS's is hardly "starting" the Never Trump movement....
Sorry if I wasn't clear. My claim was based on not supporting Israel / criticism of Jews.hph6203 said:
Guess he's getting fired based upon your claim.

Those aren't real republicans. they are neocons at best, and democrats now at worst.BQRyno said:
How can you post that list and say Shapiro was the only mainstream Republican? If he's the only one you knew on that list, I don't know what to tell you.
I'm going to guess many of them were more influential back then.TxAgPreacher said:Well maybe I should have said he legitimized it, but he was the only mainstream influential republican in the media I saw who was pushing it.UAS Ag said:He didn't START it...shsuAg12 said:https://www.dailywire.com/news/shapiro-i-will-never-vote-donald-trump-heres-why-ben-shapiroUAS Ag said:Where do you get this crap?TxAgPreacher said:For his constant warmongering. I think you're trolling at this point. Those people were the republican party until 5 minutes ago. Shapiro loved Haley at one point. He does not now. Trump picked Haley as UN Ambassador. Again, I don't know what to tell you.
