It's a shame there is no other way Trump could have expressed his opinion without using the politically-charged word "Bloodbath" as a result of him losing an election (particularly in light of the events that occurred the last time he lost an election).

Or, perhaps, the phrasing was carefully chosen so he could literally say that there would be a bloodbath if he wasn't elected and so that it could be taken as a sound-bite to be re-broadcast on all the news outlets all weekend. Particularly the Sunday morning shows.

Personally, I believe Trump said exactly what he meant to say and it got the the exact reaction he was hoping for.

So you admit the media lied, but believe them anyway? Wow.

Please show one example of the media lying. The man said what he said and meant want he meant to mean.

In fact, the extreme right-wing response of accusing the media of lying is likely exactly what he wanted his parrots to squawk.

Yeah, you're probably right. That is far too smart for Trump's intellectual abilities.

Trump should double down. Not joking.

"We're gonna kill off illegal immigration"

"We're gonna go to war on inflation. Were gonna gun down high prices"

"I will nuke DEI in the government once I'm elected"

I could give you an encyclopedia-sized book of proof, with annotations and data cited and you'd scoff. And I'm not a Trump supporter, nor apologist. He's an idiot and a liberal, but he didn't say anything remotely close to calling for a bloodbath and anyone pushing that narrative is a liar, and, plainly, dumber than dirt.

And now I feel dirty for having to defend Trump.

Jeez, dude. Did you even listen to the clip?!?

Trump was extemporaneously riffing like he has done thousands of times over the last few years, and made a word choice that was easy fodder for his opponents to jump on. That's it. Nothing more.

Now I realize you're used to and apparently prefer a POTUS who lacks the ability to think on his feet and has to read something written by someone else word-for-word else he gets himself into trouble; but, come on.

And as a reminder and clarification, the only blood shed after he lost the election was from the gun of a questionable Capitol Policeman against an unarmed protestor, unlike the many who lost their lives and property destroyed during the BLM riots. RIP David Dorn and MANY others.

That people think these same folks who inform you, educate you, govern you, and entertain you will also be totally truthful and trustworthy for counting votes is incredible.

This all is a perfect example of why we get lied to. It's effective and it's fool-proof. The MSM and Democrat party aren't changing their spots. And if any of you think 2024 will be any different than 2020, you're as dumb as they want you to be. When some MSM idiot tells you that you should be grateful and thankful that Biden or Newsom gets 85 million votes and "beats" Trump to avoid this "bloodbath", just remember that an actual bloodbath, the BLM riots, was called "Mostly Peaceful". Trump will never be allowed to spend one more second in the Oval Office. You can take that how ever you want to take it. The Swamp will protect its swamp.

BUT why does Trump keep giving them ammo?

Let me guess, every single one of your heroes were just being facetious and hyperbolic, but no, Trump meant exactly what your TDS infested brain thought he meant, based on a 30 second clip taken out of context.
