Binge watched this since I took a day off for Spring Break. It basically covers our relationship with Russia/Communism /Soviet Union from the Bolsheviks to the current conflict with Ukraine. Not a bad documentary on the historical side, but the slant was obviously there. They took plenty of shots at CIA gaffes over the years and sometimes made the Reds look sympathetic in spite of Stalin. Then of course, they couldn't help themselves by linking Trump to Putin. All in all, not a bad trip down memory lane for someone who came of age during the Cold War.
I felt like they missed multiple opportunities to hammer the socialist/communist economic system, but they still managed to show that whatever they call themselves, the Russians have traditionally been governed by a bunch of organized criminals and thugs.
