That was my plan for a long time but it's expensive as heck.
As long as he votes Republican in the private voting booth, then I accept his get along with spouse at home, attitude.NavasotaAg said:
I have an aunt and uncle that moved there from the east coast. She's a raging liberal Jewish woman from Connecticut and loves her community, so take that for what it's worth. Uncle was born and raised in Texas but was Navy for a long career, he's a closet conservative, would not dare cross her

Also, probably half of the old Ags wouldn't meet the academic standards of the current "diploma mill" A&M.
I've read of this degrading governance for a while. I knew the anecdotes must be true when I read about their insane renewable energy scheme over 5 years ago.aggieland09 said:
I've lived in Georgetown for 11 years. When I moved here it was THE county you did not want a ticket of any kind. Tough on crime, hauled homeless and vagrants to Austin. Fast forward to today. Full of crazy homeless, had a few lousy judges and DA, green energy blew electricity prices thru the roof, elections have been won by republicans by literally 10s of votes. One judge I know specifically won by 12 votes. Georgetown/williamson county is going to be taken over a la Denver by Californians. It's basically toast.

You can't exclude young people from an age restricted community. We have 40 somethings in ours. You can cap the percentage. Not sure why young people would want to live here even though it's awesome. Similarly I wouldn't want to live in.a student dominated community in CS.

How does a development like this get around age discrimination as a protected class to buyers?

Live in a retirement community that is solid red. A couple from California moved in on my street last spring. They've already moved because they said it's hard living around people that are against illegal immigration, abortion, etc. Goodbye.
Yep, wrong pigmentation.Captn_Ag05 said:

Bell County has barely kept our mutual US Rep Republican. Williamson county has gone for the Democrat the last two times i believe.Ag4life80 said:
We've lived in Gtown since '95 when there was 15-16K residents. Sun City certainly changed the dynamics of the town, mostly for the better. But, there are a lot of former military residents in Sun City, and a lot of them are Democrats. They're used to the federal tit, I guess.
Williamson County, on the other hand, has seen an invasion of liberals. The suburban areas north of Austin such as Cedar Park and Leander are overrun with Cali implants working for the tech companies. Once the Samsung chip plant in Taylor is up and running, there is a good chance Williamson will be purple at best.
Born and raised in Georgetown. Definitely noticed this. I live in Leander now. I plan to retire out in Kingsland or Llano. I hope it's far enough away that it doesn't get overtaken, too.aggieland09 said:
