I have no issue with effective leaders who represent their constituencies well and remain engaged staying in office a long time, though I agree that it isn't what our founding fathers intended. I do have a problem with corrupt men like McConnell and Biden siphoning off every dollar they can stuff into their pockets and utilizing government as a vehicle for personal wealth and protection.

The US government has become the mafia. Biden and McConnell are dons. Or at least they do the dons' bidding.

Trump IS an issue.

But, the RGV is moving to be less Democrat than in the past...the last 4 elections have shown that.

Figured Thune would be next up, especially since he just endorsed Trump the other day.

Allred isn't even guaranteed to win the primary. He probably will but he will also spend a ton of money in the primary and run-off.

And maybe it's empirical, but Cruz's likeability has improved significantly with his commercialcast, podcast.

Regardless, he is still better than a RINO appointed by a Dem. Just glad he is leaving as party leader in the senate, the reports of how he treated Johnson in front of Biden yesterday were like the last straw for me.
