Too bad we can't see who star'd post. At least we'd know who doesn't believe they have the ability to rationalize and discern the truth and who doesn't trust their fellow man with information. They are the true "Soviets" at heart.

Tucker, horrible evil traitorous scum, discusses why he has sided with the evil empire/dark side/satan.

Wait, none of that is true. He just sounds like a normal journalist used to, trying to share a story. Weird.

Tucker? A journalist? Surely you jest. He's an entertainer at best. Nothing about his show says 'fair and balanced' research with integrity.
And that may be true for most talking heads that have their own show. Real journalists stop existing once the spotlight hits them and they get their own show. Tucker wouldn't have a show if he was giving a balanced view. People want drama, not harmony.

You listened to none of what he said in that tweet based on what you posted…
Perhaps I did only key in on the part where he said he sounds like a 'normal journalist'. If you believe that, then that assumes there is a standard that exists for 'normal journalists' that can be trusted.

First, I don't care about anything concerning Russia/Ukraine, I am just blown away by those that are freaking out about Tucker interviewing Putin, who cares. 60 minutes interviewed Bin Laden back before 9/11.
Agreed. Those interviews get viewers...period. The intrinsic value of the interviews themselves is subjective

Putin is a war criminal and an enemy of the United States.

Would we be happy about interviewing Adolf Hitler in 1943 to hear his views of the world? Would we have wanted to have King George III give interviews to Americans in 1778?

it comes down to do you support distributing enemy propaganda during a time of war.

I'm not saying it's immoral- but it is certainly not something to be celebrated.

so many of you are such inflexible ideologues that you will justify the dumbest ideas as long as you think it "hurts" the left.

all the while using leftist tactics. I certainly have no interest in anything Bin Laden had to say in 2003, (and now notice how American teens are praising Bin-Laden speeches!)

I have no interest in listening to the Mullahs in Iran, or Hamas, or Hizbullah, or Xi ShenPing, or Kim Jung Un.

but then that's because I am a patriotic American not interested in enemy propaganda against the United States.

No matter how Tucker tries to justify this, he should not have interviewed Putin.

No matter what Biden and his clowns say, Putin is not a good person and has no intentions of doing the right thing. I am not advocating for the war, but Putin has no intentions of stopping with Ukraine. History has shown he wants the old USSR back, and he has said it was a mistake to let it go. He plans to take all of eastern Europe again, and won't stop.

Has he said that? How do you know? Did someone interview him or are you relying on official Russian media reports?

Every American President since the outset of the 20th century has been accused of being a "war criminal". Most of us are smart enough to discern the truth. Thus, we are not afraid to hear opposing views regardless of how "horrendous" they may sound. Only someone without a sound, rational basis for their convictions is afraid to hear other people speak. You don't have to watch or listen if you don't believe you cannot discern truth from a lie or good from bad. Those who can defend their beliefs are no less patriotic but in fact more patriotic than someone who does not trust their fellow countrymen with information.

You don't speak for me. I welcome as much information as I can get on a topic. Why are liberals so scared of this? They've been spoon fed pro-Ukraine propaganda since the war started and are all of a sudden super-duper huge Ukrainian supporters even though not a single one of you has ever been there, or could even point it out on a map before the war started. You don't know a single thing about this war outside of what your state sponsored media has told you.

I want to know what Putin is thinking, good or bad. Forgive me if I don't simply take this administration's word for it…

Putin and what army?

Not that joke of a Russian army.

He's getting his ass handed to him. Over 300k Russian troops killed or injured this far.

On top of that, the TFR for Russia is well below 2.1 and has been for a very long time. Know what that means? He has no replacement soldiers because the Russian population is imploding. Russia is dying off.

Trump said he wanted peace, the war to stop and people dying. GOP voters are tired of their tax dollars, which is made up largely from their tax contributions, from going to corrupt countries to be funneled back to our corrupt politicians.

Uh, that's a lie.

Are you aware that Trump sold LETHAL weapons to Ukraine that Obama would not?

I'm ok with Ukraine selling war bonds and us selling them whatever they want, including tactical nukes.

What we don't support is giveaways.

Nope. Russia's "orc/Ivan" army is only a joke on the Ukraine tactical thread.

On this thread they are a hostile foreign superpower.

You won't get anything relevant from this interview. And that's not a slight on Tucker. Putin is a former KGB agent and is very good at what he does. He's used and mislead people across the world that would make Tucker seem like a mental midget. And Tucker is a brilliant guy. The Russians have literally written the book on media manipulation and coined the term "useful idiots". The Soviet Union maybe gone but it's alive and well in their culture and guys like Putin. That doesn't just disappear because the red banner fell 35 years ago.
But if I'm in Tucker's shoes...that's my point. You let people hear directly from Putin - which will of course will be filtered spin. But then use it to show how little respect Russia has for America's current leadership...and sadly our current government isn't so different from Russia in how they manipulate the media and public opinion while working against what's best for the people behind the scenes.

The 'useful idiots' only see 'Russia bad! Tucker bad!' - but Tucker's objective has nothing to do with lifting up Russia. The heart of all his points comes back to "The United States government isn't being honest with you".

it is the truth, clearly an uncomfortable one to you, that in 2024 republicans and putin are aligned in their desires to cut off american support to ukraine against russia. putin finally called off his two year moratorium on interviews with western media to advanced that desire with a sympathetic mouthpiece in tucker.

Didn't the Democrats literally roll out the Red Carpet for the leader of a country who not only is allies with Russia but guilty of just as terrible human rights violations and is perfectly willing to invade a bordering territory that it use to control?

Didn't that literally just happen?

But now Tucker is a traitorous scumbag for having a single conversation with Putin?

No, the uncomfortable truth is the Democrats and a number of Republicans don't give a damn about the American people - and would rather send more money to other nation's borders than our own. They care more about Ukraine, the money laundering promised land for the elite, than they do for America's problems. They use the media to manipulate and lie to the people. In many aspects, they behave no differently than Putin.

This isn't about rooting for Russia against Ukraine - most people don't give a damn about that regional conflict.

This is about people like you who are complete denial of how dishonest and disingenuous our current leaders are... and you're stupid or naive enough to believe them every time they tell you something. "You mean Ukraine needs more money! Oh no! We better send it as fast as possible! If you don't agree you're a Putin lover!!"

This is how you know the Dem minions in the media, and even on this board, are lying.

They know Russia and China are joined at the hip. They know the Biden Administration is caving to China. They know their dear leaders don't give a damn about China's human rights issues.

This is just political theater for them to bash Tucker, and Trump. Anyone that questions America's current direction is Hitler or Putin. They need Russia to be the 'bad guy' right now to distract from the horrible job Biden and the Dems are doing here in our own country.
