It's not an accurate contrast. Both the God-hating evil rulerships that kill their own citizens do so to consolidate power for the government and ruling class. Both countries are drained of their lifeblood and treasure. The interests of the Russian government are no more the interests of the Russian people than are the interests of the US government the interests of the US people.

Russia invaded Crimea in 2014. So are Oliver Stone and Mike Wallace traitors?

And if is an entirely valid viewpoint to not want to further Ukrainian aid. I think we should give them whatever the need to slaughter as many Russians as possible but these are tax dollars and we all get a say.

This is dumb. Putin wants Tucker there so he can have a softball interview to try to spin the war he started. What was the reason again? Biolabs? Nazis? It was all a pretext for the old KGB agent who regrets the fall of the old Soviet empire.

Tucker is being used as a propaganda pawn to reach Trumpers so they discourage the Trumpers in the House and Senate from additional funding for Ukraine.

More foreign policy wizardry from the orange moron. Ukraine will fall, NATO will be weakened, China will be emboldened. The USA fights for a little bit, but you can sway public policy and they'll tuck their tails and run.
