I am a huge fan of his policies he implemented while president.
I am not a fan of his bedside manners.
if he can improve on that, and be a uniter, he will be our next president.
How many of you clowns voted for Hillary Clinton, or Joe Biden??
Under his presidency, he made America Great Again.
I am voting for him!! Who are you voting for??

This is 100% true for every politician at the national level. Trump is just loud about it.

Every politician sucks. Mine do. Yours do. Its a crap system that we are in and all we can do is enjoy the ride.

Its a big club and we are not in it. These people do not give a damn about you or your family. They are all salves to their donors and special interest groups.....the will of the people be damned. You are a vote. Nothing else.

This country is being driven off a cliff and the ones in charge do not care. As long as their stocks are in the black and their perceived influence is intact, they are insulated and could care less about where things are headed. In the end, it will all be someone else's problem, right?

Spare me the "drain the swamp", "build the wall", "stop inflation day one" crap that Trump is spewing. Trump had his chance and what does he have to show for it? A few supreme court justices with a liberal handicap? We didn't get a grasp on immigration and spending skyrocketed under his admin. (Yes, BS impeachments and COVID and bi-partisan spending bills v. straight party line spending bills and yada yada yada.)

And Biden and his cronies? This one is already TDLR so I'm not going to start. FJB.

I have voted conservative my entire life and will continue to do so, but to act like Trump is any worse than any of the other geriatrics who run this country is a shortsighted at best.

Sorry for all of the rambling up above. I'm just tired of it all and I'm tired of being helpless to do anything about it. This country is going down the toilet and all we (as a country) can do is argue about which old man sucks the least.

If the debate remarks are going to be your trigger, at least be honest about it. Rubio went there first. Of course Trump is going to respond. But just like msm headline writers, you make it sound like Trump initiated some untoward comment without providing context.
You can't treat this bozo like he's a victim. The dude is his own worst enemy. If he had an ounce of humility, he would have won the last election. Unfortunately, he's incapable of that and will lose this next election as well. Keep telling yourself he's "the guy". We will lose again and y'all will continue be deceived into thinking the entire system is rigged. Nope. He's just an absolutely atrocious man and candidate.

I happen to agree with you: Trump has the capacity to be his own worst enemy. But in your statement, you are harkening back to 2016 and taking debate comments completely out of context. That's right out of the libs' playbook. Rubio started that line of BS.
And if you don't believe the election was rigged in 2020, I can recommend Mollie Hemingway's book to you. Beyond that, I know I can't convince you.

I don't recall any of the other geriatrics bragging about sexually assaulting women and then being found liable by a jury for sexually assaulting a woman, nor do I recall any of the other geriatrics paying hush money to a porn star so that his election effort wouldn't be derailed and then staring straight into a camera and lying to the American people about having done so.

So I disagree with your statement.

He lost me on a couple things:
Dwelling on 2020. Almost everyone but his hard core supporters has moved past this, but the more Trump goes on about it the more he just comes off as a sore loser. Heck, Nixon lost 1960 under more questionable circumstances and even he conceded the election so the country could move forward. And when he came back and later won the presidency he didn't spend the 1968 campaign still complaining about it. As long as Trump focuses on this (losing issue), he is not talking about the awful state of Biden's America (winning issue) nor how he would make it better (heard very little).

Scorched earth tactics on other Republicans. Sure I enjoyed "Crooked Hilary" 8 years ago, but now his schtick is beyond tiresome. When DeSantis started his campaign, Trump and his toadies told me RDS was a child groomer, he was gay, and his wife faked her cancer. And that was just the first month. When you go scorched earth you burn everything down, but Trump doesn't GAF.

Even with all this, I could still clamp down my nose and vote for him a third time if I thought he would be effective in doing anything conservative, but I no longer kid myself. This is not the Trump of 2016. He has regularly attacked other Republicans from the left, backtracked on abortion, and wants to build the FBI a beautiful new building. Not to mention signing into law the CARES act, gave the keys to the kingdom to Fauci, and is still the proud "father of the vaccine". Done with him.

You can't realistically run against socialism when federal outlays increased from 4.1 trillion to 7.25 trillion during your four years in office and when a debt 240 years in the making increased by 40% during those same four years. Even Trump's signature Tax Cuts and Jobs Act added $1.9 trillion to the debt. Wait, I take that back: you can REALISTICALLY run because as somebody ---- maybe P.T. Barnum ---- said there's a sucker born every minute, but you shouldn't be able to run, morally speaking. I mean, Trump said he'd balance the budget, did the exact opposite, and people here still support him.

Tax cuts don't add to the debt. Tax cuts led to higher revenues, as they usually do, but COVID spending was very high. Revenues increased, even through the lower activity during COVID, then exploded after COVID.

As usual, the problem was, and remains, spending. The tax cuts have resulted in increased revenues.

Rational adult, the opposite of Trump.

I don't follow. Do you not think Trump is irrational and therefore would not vote for himself?

Or maybe you're saying that Trump isn't a rational adult therefore you won't vote for him…which would help Biden win the presidency. I guess Biden is the rational adult you prefer. Bold choice.

A vote for Trump in the primary is a vote for Biden in the General Election. He is going to lose. NH exit polls exposed how weak he is.

Got it. You don't think Trump can beat Biden. Do you know that Haley can? If you don't actually know? Then it's sounds like you're guessing on both fronts. Also, I don't know that I would solely focus on NH exit polls as a proxy for what will happen in any election. Maybe you have some historical data that shows a strong correlation. I don't keep track of that stuff.
Exit polls show Haley is significantly more attractive to moderates and independents. And if MAGA and DeSantis supporters really put their money where their mouths are, they'd still vote for her, too. Anyone but a Dem, right? She's the most straight-line path to a GOP victory with the possibility of voting for Rs down ballot instead of against them.

All of the general election polls on 538 (I only looked at those reported in the last week or so) show Trump leading Biden. Looks like Haley's not the only one that can topple Biden…if you believe in polls…which I assume you do since you referenced exit polls. If both Haley and Trump are projected to win the election versus Biden, I'll vote for the one with the best policies, which is Trump for me. Now, if polls start showing that only Haley has a chance against Biden, I may change my mind…if I believe the polls.

The major problem IMO, is that now Trump is going head to head with Haley. He's getting way more TV time. People will quickly remember how unlikable the guy is. I honestly don't think he's capable of winning. And the last 3 elections prove that out.

So you don't like polls anymore? The polls say that Trump leads Biden which signifies that he's projected to win. If you think that changes in the future, what makes you so sure in your prognostications? Also, the last time I checked, Trump was 1-1 in elections. Placing the loss of congressional seats directly on his shoulders is disingenuous and oversimplified. We shall see.
