Clearly most here don't fall under that category. But the hard core Trumpers I see on social media are typically the ones posting sh** like this

Doesn't exactly scream highbrow and intellectual

That said, I'd vote for him over Haley every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

The whole culture is like this now and I hate it. I consider myself pretty darn conservative but when I read my books of Thomas Jefferson's writings and then look at the dude/bro frat boy Team America crap like above it's true, regardless of ideology we're essentially a nation of children now and politics is a team sport above all else. And seeing Trump, who I'm basically going to have no choice but to vote for, with his 4th grade level antics making fun of people's names and such, is really depressing. I mean, apart from the actual ideology we currently have a VP who is functionally a 2nd grader. "Idiocracy" was actually TOO optimistic.

Huge contrast from Iowa speech calling for unity. Trump is pissed. "I don't get mad, I get even."

Trump hinted she might have some secrets they don't want investigating.

I'd bet about 1/3 of those "Independents" are Dems.

Ballot harvesting operations in urban areas of purple swing states is what really puts the Dems over the top in the EC; although suburban "independents" certainly contribute to the stupidity.

I guess this is still on.

Billionaires Stanley Druckenmiller, Henry Kravis, Ken Langone and Cliff Asness are reportedly planning a fundraiser for Haley on Jan. 30, according to an invitation viewed by Bloomberg.

I think NH shows us that Ds are NOT voting for Trump as part of some super-secret plan to put Trump on the ballot In November so Biden can easily defeat him…

Ds appear to be breaking for Haley…

I'm registered as undeclared (but firmly republican) and voted for Haley today. Looking at the town results, the more blue areas (Nashua, Manchester) voted lopsided trump. So kind of contradicts everyone's fantasy on here about NH.

If dems did vote today which living here I expect was a small number, why WOULDN'T they vote for trump in the primary. Biden already defeated him once. Haley would wipe the floor with Biden but you guys are too stupid to see that. Yay. More of the same.

Being reported that 70% of non-registered voters went for Haley, and they are reporting that a good portion of those were Ds…

I'm sure there were some but this seems overblown. It's very common in NH to be undeclared. A lot of libertarians here I guess you could say.

How do they know who from undeclared was actually D? They're just repeating what trump was saying. He doesn't ducking know like most of what he espouses. I voted for him twice but can't do it anymore when we had a good Republican option.

Didn't they have high R turnout rate, relatively speaking, in those counties?

Seems to me it's possible a lot of the Rs in those blue counties were motivated to go vote for Trump…

I think the whole Dems voting Haley is overblown. It's an estimated 6% and I read almost double what was 2016. So at best we're talking about incremental 5K votes. Either way, those are votes against Trump. It made Trumps margin in the primary a little smaller but makes no difference in the general which matters.

In two races 25-30% of Rs voting against Trump and about 50% of Inds voted against him. He's got work to do.

I thought his speech tonight was awesome but that's not the type of speech to win those people over.

I agree that the breakdown shows that he definitely needs to focus on bringing independents his way…

I also think this puts to bed the idea that Ds are going to show up en masse to vote Trump in the primary so he is the easy defeat in the general…there's simply no evidence of this taking place…

If I'm Trump, based on this exit polling, I honestly start pretending that Haley doesn't even exist, and I think I start hammering on border issues and Biden's failures there…

Haley is just going to be a distraction though…he'd be best served to not even acknowledge her…

I mean…they're right…at least with regard to the "no chance" part..
What makes me nervous is that she's got D and R $, and without a primary the D cross over voters. It makes me nervous to see her holding on. I'd much rather have seen DeSantis stay in and box her out until she quit.

Only 6% of voters were former Dems today.

Just a ton of concerned moderates.

That's our choice. Concerned moderates vs. Hee Haw MAGAs who could articulate a conservative platform if you spotted them Russia sucks and strong military. Different party now. We specialize in losing.

The more the general public is reminded about Trump by watching him, the GOP and those polls will collapse again. Turnout will be huge. The Maga cult loses again.

Everyone needs to stop believing this nonsense.

It's never really been true, and it's even less so now... and from a numbers standpoint only a tiny fraction of those who identify as independents are genuinely persuadable independents anyway.

The overwhelming vast majority of people who identify as independents, as evidenced by their voting patterns, are just as partisan as the rest of us... they just like to claim independent status because it makes them feel morally superior or they think it makes them look sophisticated.

Elections are won by turnout, period... they are not determined by who can persuade most of the independents or so called "moderates." More specifically, elections are determined by who can turn out the largest number of their side's lowest propensity voters.

The advantage Democrats have is that they have moved on from the traditional way of turning out their low propensity voters - campaigning - in favor of ballot harvesting. They've gotten so good at it, in fact, that many of their low propensity voters don't even know that they've voted. If you've bothered to pay much attention to the last few election cycles... Democrats don't even do much traditional campaigning anymore.

The Republicans, on the other hand, are stupid when it comes to turning out their low propensity voters. Republicans have a tendency to treat their low propensity voters like high propensity voters... and then wonder why they didn't show up to vote.

As you've been told many times, there is a big difference in the average Democrat voter, and the Democrat Party leadership.

The former hates Trump.

The latter hates Trump too, but they want him to be the nominee, because he is far easier to defeat. This is why they've had all their allies in the media go easy on Trump, until now, ignore all of is insane rantings, signs of dementia, and suddenly the polls show Trump going down hard to Biden. It is also the reason for all of the indictments because nothing helps Trump more in the primary than being able to play the victim card. Those indictments saved his campaign.
I don't care who people hate. This election is Marxism versus America. A person is a fool if he won't vote against Marxism. Joe Biden and the Husseinites have openly attacked our constitution for years. They have to be stopped.
