I mean…they're right…at least with regard to the "no chance" part..

I think NH shows us that Ds are NOT voting for Trump as part of some super-secret plan to put Trump on the ballot In November so Biden can easily defeat him…
Ds appear to be breaking for Haley…

Haley should ramp up the Trump attacks and call for a debate. She is gaining momentum and outperforming the polls.
What makes me nervous is that she's got D and R $, and without a primary the D cross over voters. It makes me nervous to see her holding on. I'd much rather have seen DeSantis stay in and box her out until she quit.FireAg said:shiftyandquick said:

Haley is the left's backup plan.
Plan A: bypass their primary to hand the nomination to their intended individual. Presumably Michelle but possibly Newsome. Win* outright
Plan B: run against a GOPe candidate so that a loss doesn't impede their Maoist objectives. Astroturf Haley into #2, dial up lawfare against Trump until the voters, party leadership, legal* system, or assassin discharges him.
If you watch CNN, which I know most of you don't. They are very dismissive of Haley. And they have been pumping negative stuff about Haley for a while now. They're saying that Trump is the runaway winner and that no one else has a chance. They are very bullish on Trump. With the entire Republican establishment endorsing Trump, you tell me who's the establishment candidate?

CNN is praying for Trump as they know that is the only way Biden stands a chance. They know ~40% of the of the country will vote for Republican candidate, ~40% will vote Democrat, and Biden will get crushed by Haley in the middle 20%. If it is Trump-Biden then that 20% will be split or stay home, and Biden at least has a chance.

I'm sorry but polling just doesn't support that theory right now…

Only 6% of voters were former Dems today.
Of COURSE they are. What have we been saying for months? They want Trump front and center as the nominee ASAP. So the PR barrage can beginshiftyandquick said:

Where did she out perform the Republican polls? Remove the Democrat votes and her numbers are abysmal.DarkBrandon01 said:

Clearly most here don't fall under that category. But the hard core Trumpers I see on social media are typically the ones posting sh** like thisshiftyandquick said:
Trump kills it among those that didn't graduate from college, hard to defeat him when he has so much power among the low-information voters.

The truly privileged are not Trumper. The biggest issues for Ds is saving democracy. It made me think how that's a privileged position with all the issues going on for that to be primary issue. Makes sense.

This speech is classic Trump and why people love him, but also why people hate him.

No.
That is terrible. I mean where is the restraint device. The second that eagle takes off Trump flipping right off the back.dixichkn said:Clearly most here don't fall under that category. Doesn't exactly scream highbrow and intellectual
That said, I'd vote for him over Haley every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Fwiw, most college degree only require money. They're pretty easy except advanced STEM, really. All you need is money and time, and a three digit IQ helps tremendously.
This is a battle between social classes and status groups. A coalition of urban credentialed (some might say educated, but it is arguably indoctrinated), social dependents, small minority groups, and single issue leftist groups, Vs rural and suburban working and largely married Americans with less education but more time working.
New study shows the mean IQ of US college students has been dropping by 0.2 points per year since the mid-20th century.
