The number of crossings we know if much higher than that. Apprehensions were around 2.1 million. I'm saying that if say 1 million weren't caught during that time, would you consider that secure? That would assume roughly a 2/3 apprehension rate.

If they weren't caught I don't know how anyone is supposed to have an exact number. But the 2019 estimate of illegal aliens in the US was 11 million. Clearly we didn't deport that many people.

When Trump's EO forced illegals to stay in their home country to wait their trial, any encounter resulted in a return to their home country, unlike now where they stay here. That was a huge deterrent and cut illegals staying in the US by a massive amount.

Lower Taxes - Trump did it at a national level, not just a local level
Energy Independence - Trump actually accomplished this. DeSantis = 0

On every culture issue including abortion, DeSantis is stronger than Trump, and he's made cultural issues a focal point of his governorship. Trump has talked about the need to make concessions on abortion. DeSantis handled COVID better in Florida than Trump did.
Trump criticized DeSantis for his abortion ban in Florida. Show me where he flip flopped. Agreeing to a 15 week federal ban on abortion is not flip flopping. Show me where Trump has committed to a federal ban on abortion at 15 weeks.

Which is how I know that DeSantis is stronger on abortion than Trump. He literally said the ban DeSantis signed was too harsh.
And by publicaly supporting a 15 week ban, DeSantis also agrees with Trump that his own 6 week ban was too harsh.
He actually signed a 6 week ban on abortion as Governor. Where did he agree with Trump that 6 weeks is too harsh? Show it to me. Where has Trump committed to a 15 week ban on abortion at the federal level? Show it to me. As best I can tell he's been non committal, and criticized the governors who've passed abortion bans. You're trying to use something DeSantis said he would do as president at the federal level, that's not mutually exclusive of something he did as Governor at the state level, as evidence that he agrees with Trump who won't take a position on a federal abortion ban.
