I honestly know quite a few people that just plan trips, including business, as far in advance as possible, rent a car or truck, and drive. With two or more drivers rotating the others can work done from the vehicle along the way. I know families that certainly have the means to fly but just add a few days to the trip and drive. I think after two bankruptcies, the Continental that emerged in the mid 90s was one of the better post-deregulation airlines. I didn't fly much, but I certainly chose them if I could. I could pick up a free shuttle at Ellington and avoid driving across town to Intercontinental.Velvet Jones said:
