Once an adult takes over the presidency? Or are all of these millions of illegals just going to be rewarded for breaking our laws, infiltrating our country and illegally draining it of resources just so effing pathetic, loser liberals can potentially get a few votes out of them?

This is just wishful thinking, right? None of them are going anywhere, right?

Zero. Anyone who tries will be met with lawsuits that take long enough before a new president is elected.

Nope.

Last time mass deportation worked was under Eisenhower.

I don't understand the progressive mindset because my decisions are not solely based on feelings and emotions like a fourth grader, but why in the hell do liberal private citizens support this? There is literally ZERO benefit to our country to taking in millions of twenty year old males with no professional expertise who have zero interest in assimilating or producing and are immediately going to attach to the government tit to the expense of us all. Who supports this???

Stop any path to citizenship and birthright citizenship and the Democrats will deport them.

Get rid of entitlements for non-citizens. Then the ones who are here to mooch will deport themselves. Those here to bust their asses and contribute will stay. Win-win.

I think a partial answer to this question lies in this blog post. Again, though, in my opinion this is just a part of the explanation (the EMO concept that is mentioned)

I think this is partially true. There will be some portion of them that become criminals, gang members, etc. joining cohorts who have already been here doing same awhile. No doubt in my opinion the criminal population increases because of the invasion, which will then require a Fed gov't response, succeeding in making the FedGov enterprise bigger. Everything that doesn't make sense to us plain folk is because we don't realize the FedGov only cares about it's own continuation and expansion.

No, most of them got off-the-book jobs in construction/cleaning/agriculture, working for far less than minimum wage. Deporting all of them would create a massive labor shortage that would crash the economy.

The businesses that hire them wouldn't allow their cheap labor to be deported. And thanks to politicians being owned by many of the larger businesses, they never will have to even think about it.

And as for the ones on government assistance, those tax dollars go to way too many private companies, even via the schools their kids go to.

So, it's like a two-ply safety net as to why they're never going back, and all thanks to those who make money off of them being here.

This is a complaint I hold against DeSantis and Trump.

Both have spoken of mass deportations, but it is not possible. It would will be political suicide for Republicans for a generation.

As a candidate if I say we will let them stay, I lose votes. The truth of the matter is that we have no choice but to let them stay unless they commit a crime (yes I know they committed a crime by coming over). This is why closing the border is so important at this point.

The only saving grace, and main reason why I am running for a Congress, is that we must coalesce the Hispanic vote to the Republican Party. We can do it, and the time is now. The Hispanic voting population does not like the trajectory of the Dems. Thus, we turn a weapon of the Democrats into a weapon of our own for the next 3 generations.

I'd love to see the National Guard circle Colony Ridge while ICE agents went in and rounded up illegals and deported them all to Antarctica (or another country in an opposite hemisphere) while the military is decimating cartels.

Send the bill to Joe Biden.

And we thought Bin Laden was hard to find.

Our country is saturated with illegal immigrants, there is no way we would be able to deport them even if politicians decide that's the right thing to do. What's been done is done.

And republicans call themselves the party of law and order. I guess that means they preach it until they have to enforce it.

Not only are they not going anywhere, but they're going to outbreed the hell out of American citizens. They're going to knock up all our liberal daughters as well as all of their females, over and over again.

No, we have a choice. But as you point out, politicians wet their finger and hold it up in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. We lack backbone. If today's politicians were around in 1945 we would have had to invade Japan.

Ha! Not even remotely. Nobody's leaving and millions more are on their way. It blows my mind any time I hear people on our side who actually think we're ever going to deport millions of people.

I know people always like to overdramatize about politics, but between us approaching $40 trillion of debt and climbing, literally having no borders, elections without confidence, and total cultural chaos, it's hard to exaggerate how far we are past the point of no return. No one will fix any of this, even the few who claim they will.

Q: Is there ANY chance that all of these illegals will eventually be deported?
sam callahan said:

Zero

This answer getting a lot of stars means you know that once illegals cross the border they are practically here for good.

Thus common sense would dictate that any actions that would incentivize illegals to cross would be a poor course of action. As in, advertising that we will give free transportation across the country for illegals would be an idiotic action because it incentivizes simply crossing the bare minimum into Texas.

I agree the union as it stands would have near zero chance at mass deportations, thus the only logical choice we're left with is TEXIT since the border has been advertised as open with transportation.

It's a nice fantasy but Texas isn't leaving the US. We're being overrun far faster than any momentum for that to ever happen could build.

The Dems want 'em for votes. The RINOs want 'em for cheap labor. They aren't going anywhere. They are a permanent, breeding portion of our population. The adults might never have citizenship, but their kids will.

Yes. If they are cut off from all the freeloader stuff, many will leave. It's going to be hard to get many of them to leave but we can push a good number to decide to go home.

There are 2 elements to this:

1. Leftist virtue signaling at the expense of the taxpayer and future generations and the poorer American citizens

2, naked desperate power grab by the political class in red states and cities that SUCK to live in more than before and are losing voters. It's about warm bodies for apportionment of representatives and electoral votes

I'd venture it's a closer reality than any chance America pulls back from its slow suicide via leftism.

The bigger fantasy is hoping R leaders dominate Ds into submission or the R populace leads a culture revitalization yielding fewer future D voters.

Neither option is being supported by the GOP thus the most likely scenario is slow suicide to leftism via illegals and the welfare state.
