So the one group manages to successfully tunnel into the building that they have been shut out of. Then what? Wouldn't the current occupants simply call the police and have them removed? I would think the NYC Department Of Buildings will order emergency temporary support scaffolding designed by a licensed structural engineer, followed up with detailed working drawings submitted for approval stamped by a structural engineer for the permanent support based on field conditions.
