The most ridiculous part of all of this? That these overblown embellishments work. So many idiots that truly just believe what they're told by their media and Hollywood.

It was a heckuva run, fellas. Unbelievable what this country used to stand for and accomplish. Today, we are just an oversized 3rd world banana republic.

Right on man. Love the hippy screen name. Certainly peaceful compared to burning down parts of Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis.

one point, the four got up, Lebron shouted "Viva Puerto Rico Libre" ("Long live free Puerto Rico"), and unfurled a Puerto Rican flag. All four took out semiautomatic pistols they were carrying and proceeded to spray with bullets the defenseless members of Congress below.

The fourall in their 20sdidn't succeed in killing any of the congressmen, but did wound five. They were quickly arrested.

Twenty-three years later, President Jimmy Carter commuted the sentence of Figueroa Cordero,

The Weathermen were at it again a dozen years later in 1983, setting off another bomb that "tore through the second floor of the Capitol's north wing," according to the U.S. Senate history site. Moments earlier, a group calling itself the Armed Resistance Unit called in a warning to the Senate switchboard, but lives were spared only because debate had ceased earlier than expected.

He was not charged with insurrection.

These are his charges:
Disorderly Conduct
Entering Restricted Grounds
Unlawful protest

All misdemeanors. Do you realize how far removed these charges are from insurrection? These charges are just as far removed from "incompetent insurrection".

Which is why using the term is pure propaganda and the media and Democrats and any Republicans using the term should be ashamed of not just diminishing an important term, but using the term for so many American citizens. In many cases tarnishing these Americans for the rest of their lives with a very serious charge that does not apply to them.

For what? A political win?

The fact that many of you carrying the water for this narrative don't see how dangerous it is to misuse this term is pretty scary.

Anyone that thought that was an "insurrection" is a dumb ass of the highest order. Unfortunately we've got a few of those on this board.

Trump's lies and scheming after he lost were a putrid disgrace and J6 should have been the end of him if 10 more Senators had a spine. In most western democracies he would be in handcuffs on J7.

Republicans would probably win the presidency this year in this reality.

It's no wonder they can't solve actual crimes with the resources poured into this. Imagine these keen detectives if someone took cocaine into the White House. They'd be on that in a minute.

Good thing the special council charged him that charged him with 94 crimes including insurrection or sedition....

Wait, what's that? He's not charged with insurrection? Hmm. You'd think that be charge #1.

In all fairness, there was one shot that was "heard around the world," at least via social media.

Other than that, though, yes, it was just another day of tourists strolling peacefully through the Capitol.

It was a heinous attack on the United States Capitol. Like all Americans, I was outraged by the violence, lawlessness, and mayhem.

They should have immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders.

America is and must always be a nation of law and order.

The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol defiled the seat of American democracy.

To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, will pay.
