Well having a more electable candidate that is running a ballot harvesting operation of their own and isn't despised by 60% of the country would seem to be an idea but let's just do the same thing again. Only this time our guy is older and is telling people he doesn't need their votes.

It takes more than identifying problems it requires actually trying new solutions.
Dude, we get it, you work on the DeSantis campaign. If DeSantis is doing everything you say he's doing, he'll be bringing a BB gun to a fight that the DNC is using howitzers. Wake up, this isn't Trump vs. Desantis, it's good versus evil and we're getting our ass kicked thanks to our freckles party leaders and spineless judges.
Nice job of attacking me and not the point I was making. So what is Trump doing? DeSantis is actually doing something and has a plan. At least DeSantis has been able to have some success beating the Left when many thought it was impossible (Covid lockdowns and Disney are 2 great examples). I'll vote for Trump if he is the nominee but he is literally doing nothing about this other than dealing with his own legal troubles. There is no ground game and organization. He praised McDaniel AGAIN this weekend even though she still won't even talk to Scott Pressler and is a joke of an RNC Chair. It's like the Trump campaign thinks they will win by Memes and personal attacks, that is the main thing he is doing and all his influencers do.

I also donate to DeSantis not the other way around (only the 2nd candidate I have ever donated to) but thanks for your concern.
The only way I'm attacking you, is not personally, and I did address the rest of your post, you just don't like to hear it.(BB gun vs. Howitzers). You have to make every legitimate election integrity thread about Trump and DeSantis when everyone else is discussing the corruption of the left, their voting apparatus and their minions. Nothing DeSantis is doing is going to change a damn thing. Let's put this to rest once and for all, DeSantis cleaned up Florida and turned it deep red by cleaning out the corruption of Miami-Dade County and Broward County. Do you even remember how leftist corrupt those counties were and their election officials? He is the governor of Florida and had that power. How's he going to clean up Philadelphia, Detroit, Phoenix, Atlanta or even Milwaukee pre 2024 election? Woohoo, he's doing something (BB gun). Now talk about the absolute corruption of our elections at the national level, then maybe we can get DeSantis elected. But you DeSantis fanboys love to whistle through the graveyard and throw platitudes at anything Trump without ever, deeply acknowledging the true problem. Some of you have already gone as far as claiming when the corruption isn't overcome it will just be an excuse for a Trump loss and all the trumpers will be parroting it. I'm not a trumper and guess what, I'm already trumpeting it. The candidate will not matter!
I understand you don't think DeSantis can solve the problem. I think it is worth a shot to try a new approach but I understand you seem to think it is hopeless so why bother?

The question was about what TRUMP is going to do. I have seen no plan from him at all, in fact what he has talked about and done is counterproductive. He's not making himself more palatable to Swing voters. He's not building a ground game. He backed a terrible candidate for RNC Chair. He's not talking about ballot harvesting in any serious way. He's not setting up a legal strategy to contest results.

I guess I'm just not ready to concede just yet and would like to try something new first.
There's my platitudes. Stop trying to stick your finger in the dam and try to figure out how to build a new dam. This one is failing and nothing Trump or DeSantis are doing will change that. Quit making every ****ing thead about that, it just shows your mental weakness. By your definition, if I'm stuck in the middle of the desert with an empty gas tank and I get out and start digging in the sand, hoping to find oil, at least I'm doing something. Forget I'm eating time when I should be focused on how to get out of the desert.

And, the question wasn't about what is Trump doing, that's what y'all turned it into. The OP only mentions Trump because the election was stolen from him, you, me and the American people.
So what is your plan? Revolution? Jan 6 Part II?

Yes, threads about Trump having the election stolen are going to end up being about Trump as well or what we can do to prevent it/change it.

The House Republicans in NY and Cali that did what DeSantis is advocating won in Deep Blue states btw, even that idiot Santos.
Only for the TDS crowd and nothing is being done about it. At least nothing to stop the blue cheating. So they cheated better, that doesn't fix anything on a national level and the left is great at making halftime adjustments unfortunately. The Republicans, not at all.

Keep supporting those who are willing to point out and find the corruption. Antagonize the hell out of my representatives by constantly sending them the articles and information that is being ignored. Sending to our party's leaders and demanding them to stand up to the evil that is the left. Bring legislation that addresses this, and before some idiot says, they control the Senate and the white house, it's not about getting it passed, it's about getting the message out to the American public so hopefully they'll start raising hell and demanding change. The Democrats have been masters at this when they're in the minority and it sways public opinion, the Republicans suck at this.

And I really love how you actually think you have an intellectual gotcha.

Can a Florida lawyer overcome the cheating of the regressives?
If he's backed by the same Big Government backers that support the establishment, then yes, he can overcome the cheating.

Do we really want someone backed by the Swamp though?

You saw that Hochul signed into law that New York has lengthened mailin ballots for the upcoming elections . "To strengthen Democracy",you know what that means.

At least as long as the average CVS receipt.

I just perused but here is the full text.

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2023/S7394

Believe some of the highlights are voters can request up to 10 days before election, must mail by election, and be received within 7 days after election.

But overall it goes AGAINST what the citizens of NY voted for in 2021 and Stefanik is already challenging.

More good parts...
Quote:

Gianaris said later in a statement that the lawsuit is being brought by former President Donald Trump "loyalists and insurrection apologists."

Hochul also signed measures that would create same-day registration on the first day of early voting, tighten up rules for changing an early voting polling place, and allow absentee ballots that were sealed with tape to be counted. Local jails will now be required to provide voter registration information to those who are being released from custody, and more comprehensive training will be conducted for poll workers.
https://www.wxxinews.org/capitol-bureau/2023-09-20/hochul-signs-a-law-to-allow-mail-in-early-voting-stefanik-files-a-lawsuit

Nothing to see here. Same-day registration, you can open up and retape mail in ballots, and prisoners get the same treatment as fans of Taylor Swift.

Opened and then taped shut again? Holy crap! Don't need to add ballots into the stream, just replace those already in the stream with bogus ones, retape and voila! Don't even have to steam them open?

No, Reagan would win. Especially if people were familiar with him already. Too many people keep trying to raise the "it doesn't matter who we run they'll cheat" flag. And we've never had a Democracy.

Not allowing glue, tape and such is racist and disenfranchises voters of color. Just like IDs and in person voting. Same for accurate signature verification.

All alleged votes, even ones obviously tampered with, fake, improperly cast, cast by ineligible voters, or contained within cookies shipped from China must be counted!

Texags F16 and the election was stolen claims.

Proved 100% on internet forums, but in a court of law where someone vets the "evidence" ... not so much.

In other court cases, well you have this:

https://www.npr.org/2023/04/18/1170339114/fox-news-settles-blockbuster-defamation-lawsuit-with-dominion-voting-systems

$787,500,000 would buy a hell of a lot of billable hours to prove said fraud but I guess Fox News just had the money lying around and wanted to help Dominion.

Its too bad that lawsuit did not bankrupt FNC, then the Jews would have no one sharing their side of the current conflict.

But way to derail another thread about election fraud with companies making business decisions regarding lawsuits awarded in liberal courts with liberal juries who give two ****s about the law, facts and justice.

Yes, our election system is broken and no one seems to want to fix it. It is quite frustrating.

Only citizens, who registered to vote, should be able to vote. And no it's not racist to ask people to prove they are who they say they are. And yes we should purge the voter registration DB on a regular basis. If you register to vote in another state - it should check to see if you are registered elsewhere. If so, pick, and the other is purged. If you die, you should automatically be purged from the voter registration DB.

Voting should be in person (there are valid exceptions that should be treated as exceptions and need a secure process). One way to fix that is to standardize the early election process across all states or to make voting day a national holiday so everyone can go vote.
There was NEVER any evidence that our election system is broken. It's all perception and conspiracy nonsense because "our guy" didn't win (even though Trump was behind in basically every legitimate poll). Blaming the "deep state" is laughable, since there is no such thing to begin with. Do you still believe that Santa Claus is going to come down your chimney also?

Got it. So what is your plan again?

Ok, Trump isn't really doing that though. He's screaming a lot and complaining and that's fine but he has no bill he is proposing or any way of passing it. He also has destroyed his credibility with the public by putting idiots like Rudy, Powell, Lindell, and others out front delivering his message and then throwing others under the bus when he doesn't like them anymore. You need consistent and credible messaging to have success. Trump has crushed his credibility so many times I don't see how that's repairable with Independents and certainly Democrats.

I'm not going for a "gotcha" I'm just trying to have a real discussion about the topic. I think DeSantis is trying to do all you are talking about and more and is a far better vehicle for delivering that message with more experience in getting things done. Simply because Trump failed doesn't mean others can't succeed. If Trump is the guy then I would love for him to figure it out but I just don't see it. Trump has made it very easy to oppose him and expensive to support him, that's a bad combination in politics if you are trying to build a broad coalition and that is what he needs to have any chance of success around election fraud.

I really don't think our positions are that different it's just we have different views on the way to accomplish it and who should lead that effort.

This happened on Trump's watch... But you think second time around he'll fix it huh?
Trump was President not King.

Right, but he certainly tried to throw around his weight when the election was over. Imagine what he could've done if he would've been proactive before the election. He has an army of followers who could have been protesting outside every capital, instead he was telling people to vote twice and shrugging his shoulders.

Exactly jack s*** in the courts. He and the GOP and other legal groups* tried but they also got tossed out of court. No injunction froma court from lack of irreparable harm.

* Amistad Project from the Thomas Moore Society filed multiple suits before the election for instance and never could get an injunction. Catch-22. File suit pre-election to stop the illegal actions? Can't get an injunction. File after, laches meaning they waited too long.

I was pointing this out way back in 2019, but I'm just one random guy. The foolish Republicans with actual authority let themselves get screwed by being complacent and by focusing on the wrong threats. The problem was always at the voter harvesting end, to include mail in voting, and the questionable legal maneuvering used to make it easier to harvest ballots for which the chain of custody is broken at some point.
Harvesting ballots is legal in nearly every state, but with limits.

The issue isn't ballot harvesting, but that it opens up some opportunities for fraud if someone picks up a ballot and either changes it or does not deliver it.

Nobody seems interested in actually putting out the effort it would take to do something about it, though.

No chain of custody? Ballots are not counted. That includes drop boxes, mail in ballots going through the post office, inperson votes having no chain of custody as well.

Like I said, there is a potential for fraud, but ballot harvesting itself, if following the laws, is not illegal.

No chain of custody, no counting takes care of that. More than one way to skin a cat.

Conventional wisdom is that when voter turnout is high, it favors democrats. GOP are individually motivated voters, but Democrats have their machine.

Generally speaking, friction favors the GOP. So anything the GOP can do to complicate voting or reduce turnout will be an assumed net benefit. Exhibit A - mail in voting. That's why Dems complain the GOP is suppressing voters and GOP complains Dems are cheating.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle and where people stand is highly colored by their party affiliations. And if the GOP had their own machine and Dems more individually motivated, you can bet the roles would be reversed.

I agree with you, and there's just so many layers to this. Look at all the free campaign publicity Democrats get every single night on the late night talk shows, plus every Hollywood movie/show, etc. Then there's big tech trying to determine what "fair" news means from the bubble of San Francisco.

Then throw corporate donations on top of that, and our elections are sorta a joke at this point.

Democrats bus people, rock the vote, help elderly people "vote" etc, Republicans do gerrymandering and voting limits like access to the polls and limiting policing locations. It's all kinds of messed up.

The legal process is utterly inadequate to address election fraud after the fact because of the conditions it self imposed makes the time window.non-existent to correct failures or review objections. It creates a huge incentive to cheat or manipulate in those mechanisms only correctable through a legal review that can never occur.

Everyone might as well cheat to the max. If you win, you can change the rules do you can't lose again.

That's right. None of this has been addressed since 2020. I don't know why anyone here thinks 2024 will be any different than 2020. If there is blatant cheating and fraud, NONE of the courts will hear of it or do anything about it to change ANY "result".

The person that wins the Presidential Election in 2024, will be whomever the establishment chooses to win.

There is a very real need for Presidential elections to be final and not drag on and on and on and on and on.

We need to hold everyone responsible for any election fraud they have a part in. Even then, we aren't going to change an election once the winning candidate takes office. If it is determined that the candidate had a part in the fraud, I assume that he could be removed from office. I assume also that if that happened, there would be a new election to replace him rather than just swearing in the other candidate.

What we need to do is make election fraud very difficult to do and easy to detect and prosecute. We need to restore confidence in our elections. The problem is that doing this would take more work than most people want to do. Instead, we just apply simple band aids that really don't change much of anything.

So don't expect any real changes.

Unfortunately, that looks to be what will happen. Too many people get complacent and aren't upset enough to demand a just and effective solution, especially if they perceive themselves as beneficiaries of cheating or unethical manipulations.

People lose faith in the process, and quit participating, and then get abused by those who continue to exploit the unfairness. That lasts until one side or the other gets abused too much and gets angry. We don't want to get that.

When you keep losing football games, the answer is clearly to keep blaming the refs and never to self evaluate and change the game plan, the QB, etc.

Our continued issue is many people want a fat, sloven O-line of establishment guys who cannot react quick enough to block, and a clamoring for shiny bauble of the moment RBs who cannot find a hole and WRs that have hands of stone, so changing the QB gets you nothing.

If we are a shining city on a hill, I want that shine to be coming from a fortified position and the light coming from a rifle scope.

Same allegations as before.
No new, actual evidence.
Check.

No, the perception is there because:

1) The system is inauditable
2) Common sense reforms like voter ID and voter registration clean up legislation is routinely shot down
3) The lawfair around election integrity was terrible. The lack of standing / latches two step was cowardly, and intolerable.
4) The 2am ET counting stoppage in multiple jurisdictions is smoke
5) The leaky toilet flood in Fulton county is smoke
6) The Fulton county head of election administration getting fired and admonished is smoke
7) The unfolded Fulton county ballot affidavits are smoke
8) The fact that the case about the unfolded ballots is on its third judge is smoke
9) The weirdness in MI and WI on election certification is smoke
10) There is tons of other smoke that just gets brushed away

There has been nothing proven. It's bull**** to say otherwise.
There are real problems, and a lot of indications that there was significant cheating. It's bull**** to say otherwise.

There have been allegations made backed up with expert reports and eyewitness sworn affidavits.

What has never happened has been a logical and factually supported rebuttal/explanation to those credible allegations.

I watched the both Kari Lake mini trials over the 2022 midterms. Maricopa County officials were lying through their teeth. One was called both for plaintiff and the defense. He told one story about the 19 inch ballot image being printed on 20 inch ballot paper during his appearance as a Lake witness. Was seen huddling with defense counsel most of the night and when he went back on the stand when called by the defense, completely changed his story, i.e. he perjured himself and the plaintiff's expert, Parikh was correct. It wasn't a printer error. It was a programming <ahem, error> difference within the ballot definition file in the election management server. One that required a very high level of access legitimately that is.
