Yes and as soon as he's re-elected we will build idols in his image to remind anyone who questions it. Maybe even develop a new force of police to help remind people and that any negative outcomes that may happen during his presidency will be because of the deep state and not of his own doing. But we will be able to round those people up and jail them. We won't even need religion anymore because he will bring about world peace like he did in the mideast.
Once he's back in control, then we will finally control the nation to our way and then we can legislate for removing presidential term limits.

Reagan was that guy for me. I'd put Trump and GHWB as pretty even, both did some great things but also were huge disappointments and both blew it with their re-election campaigns leaving us with a terrible alternative.

Reagan wasn't perfect either but he made it so that the only Democrats who could succeed had to be conservative or at least compromise with conservatives. He completely shifted the direction of the country from the time he was elected to the time he left.

DeSantis has Reagan level potential, maybe better. We have already gotten the best out of Trump. He's a shadow of what he used to be and has all of his flaws but has lost most of his strengths.

I will vote Trump over Biden as will most DeSantis supporters, it's so annoying how the reaction to Trump criticism is "I'll vote for him over Biden!" when that isn't the question, not yet.

We had actual journalist back then, even though they were majority liberals.

And now the Treasury has announced they will need to borrow another $1.6T between now and end of 1Q.

I'll explain it! A major source of the Mexican economy comes from Mexican workers wiring cash back to their families in Mexico. So, if America charges a premium for cash transfered to Mexico, that would be money that WOULD have gone to Mexico, but instead we are using those premiums to build a wall. So Mexican money is paying for the wall. Is that explanation simple enough?

Look at it more like garnished wages than "cutting a check".
