If Gaetz had pulled the fire alarm he'd be charged with multiple felonies and there would be calls to expel him from the House. Mugshot would be on the front page of CNN.

So we all agree that anyone who purposely disrupts a congressional process is a POS and should be indicted. This guy absolutely should, as with any protests that do the same....at the national or a state capitol.

Either Obstruction of Official Proceeding of Congress or nothing. This misdemeanor crap is weak.

It isn't the punishment it is the process! We can not allow the enemy to pay a ticket and walk. They must FEEL the process.
