Holy cow (pun intended), I am amazed at how much people gripe about the "environmental dangers" of beef. Is anyone actually buying into this?

I'm not exactly sure how to interpret those statistics, but I would gather that most of the other 88% consuming the other 50% of the beef don't really want to give it up.

I eat beef, but just not every day. I like steaks, but they are pricey. I like hamburgers, but I don't want to get any fatter than I already am. I mostly consume chicken and turkey I guess.

Most people that eat beef in the form of steak or other meals in which they actually cook the beef themselves, don't consume a ton of beef.

The 12% sounds like those that eat fast food burgers as a staple of their diet.

dude, I'm not a big fan of chicken either but come on


And do you even know how to cook moose? Pro tip. Season the steaks heavily. Then place in burlap sack. Season the sack and then pour bbq sauce all over it. Smoke the steaks in the sack for 2-3 hours. Open sack, discard the moose steaks. Eat sack.

So predictable. This article is about "white man bad, and beef bad." No mention at all about how terrible carbs and soy is for health, but how much beef is.
