Total incoming missiles and rockets over 5000 now. 3 hotels under terrorist attacks, Israel oil and gas structures hit.

Israel said they are going to retaliate in a way Iran has never seen before. Likely Iran's nuclear and O&G facilities will be the main targets. It has been a while since I have studied Iranian targets but I may put them on paper to see how close I get

Key word being "if". Agree that they have enough regard for their own lives that they won't intentionally trigger Israel into ending them, but I'm not sure that "rational" is the best descriptor...

That's been the case in the past. Must have determined no nuclear material. But there is no way that Israel can ignore 200-500 ballistic missiles firing at them, no matter where they were targeted. I would expect oil prices to go up shortly.

Not really, but the Iranians claimed CEP accuracy in range tests is pretty far off than the weapons are actually used in a real combat situation.

Most ballistic missiles don't make large scale guidance changes once they finish their boost phase and approach apogee. So if you have precise enough radar, you can have a pretty good idea where the ballistic arc is taking them once they are at or near apogee. More sophisticated ones can make changes later in the flight path. But generally, once it is set on its trajectory terminal guidance isn't going to make large changes in the impact location.
