It is so interesting watching the Jew / Hamas war evolve. The Jews have used this event as leverage to basically do whatever the **** they want and anyone that questions it is a jew hater nazi, meanwhile, Hamas is the absolute definition of what Stalin called "The useful idiot"
I wish a ceasefire in Gaza would stop the #Houthis but Houthis are not escalating to help civilians in Gaza. Gaza just happened to give them the perfect execuse to escalate in the Red Sea which was something they were going to do regardless! #Yemen https://t.co/VL4tWuljey

They had 1200+ citizens raped, tortured and murdered by Hamas (Gazans). Yeah, they're doing what they want with the Gazans. As far as I'm concerned they're taking it way too easy on them. I absolutely question the motives of anyone that has a problem with what the IDF is doing. You're either anti Israel (cuz oppression or some stupid misunderstanding of history), an antisemite or muslim apologist. None of those are good.Bag said:

Jerry Seinfeld, who has been in Israel since Monday, visited today with Lior Suchard at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer.

Referring to one side by their name and the other side by their religion is an interesting choice. Would you also be fine with calling it the "Israeli/muslim war"?Bag said:what term would you prefer I use?nortex97 said:The "Jew / Hamas war" is a fascinating term to use.Bag said:

What news sources are you using to track this conflict?
Moslems in Yemen (nor Egypt) seem not to care about their co-religionists in Gaza, imho.I wish a ceasefire in Gaza would stop the #Houthis but Houthis are not escalating to help civilians in Gaza. The problem with self-government in Gaza is that no government whose sole purpose and goal is the destruction of another state can survive. The Gazans need to be governed by people who want to see their children grow up to live long and happy lives instead of hoping they will die young while attacking Israel. Until the Gazans can envision a future living alongside Israel in peace, they are not capable of viable self-governance.aTmAg said:

Disappointing, but not sure what will happen of course. I would guess less than 40 remaining are ever released alive.Quote:
The IDF's work to eliminate Hamas continues to grind on, with much of the fighting having moved to the southern section of the Gaza Strip. But there may be another "pause" coming, depending on how Hamas responds to Israel's latest outreach. Once again working through mediators in Qatar, Netanyahu is reportedly offering a pause in the fighting of at least one week if Hamas releases more than three dozen hostages. The problem is that Hamas has continued to insist that they will not participate in any more negotiations unless Israel first stops its military operations. That may change this week, however, because with the terror tunnels being flooded, Hamas is running out of places to hide. (Axios)
…Even if it turns out to be unproductive, this is a good public relations move on Israel's part. During the previous ceasefire, Israel kept all of its promises and secured the release of at least some of the hostages. It was Hamas that broke the agreement by resuming rocket attacks around Jerusalem. Israel has also continued to send truckloads of relief aid into Gaza despite knowing that Hamas is probably stealing most of it and keeping it for themselves.Quote:
About 130 Israeli and foreign nationals are still being held hostage in Gaza. White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Tuesday that includes eight Americans.
While Hamas is still insisting on a total capitulation, we have no way of knowing precisely what they have to offer in exchange for any sort of relief. We don't know how many of the remaining hostages are even alive. We keep being told that the number is roughly 130, with at least eight Americans included. But what we do know is that when Ahmad Kahlot was giving his taped confession this week, he admitted to moving the "bodies" of hostages in his hospital's ambulances. That means they were dead.

How did the three hostages that were killed by the IDF get free in the first place? Did they escape captivity? Did Hamas release them into the middle of fire fight with white flags? How did they get white flags? Germany also had a lot of low and mid-level Nazi party members who were brought back into the post-war government and bureaucracy after "deNazification" proceedings because they were the people with the experience to run the country and there wasn't anyone else qualified. The Palestinians, from what I have seen, have nobody even if Israel would turn a blind eye to Hamas membership/tacit/actual support of terrorism. The Gaza Strip is devoid of capable leadership, unless capable leadership included murdering Jews.aTmAg said:Germany had a western style government with lots of smart people to appoint to high positions.
