If we had a non-vegetable President, he would've announced the day after the attack that
(1) turn over every American hostage as well as their captors and Hamas leadership within 48hrs or be obliterated;
(2) a people that supports and hides these animals do not deserve to be recognized as a country of their own and therefore the US under his administration would no longer support a "two state solution".

It should be shown on projectors against university buildings everywhere, just like the palestinian groups did with their propaganda slogans. Those idiot academics and their sycophants supporting palestinians and hamas from their ivory towers need to own this and understand exactly why Israel is justified in whatever they do.

This. We should be letting Dubai know that harboring Hamas leaders puts them on least favored nation status and they should expect to be treated as an enemy until the leaders are expelled or turned over to Israel for trial and all American hostages are released.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12825653/hamas-trades-stock-exchange-short.html

Quote:

Hamas-linked financiers made hundreds of millions of dollars of profits by shorting Israeli stocks before the October 7 massacre, two analysts say.

One unidentified trader 'shorted' 4.43 million shares in Israel's largest bank, Leumi, between September 15 and October 5 - meaning they gambled that the price of Leumi's shares would fall.

After the October 7 attack, Leumi's share price did indeed plummet as its operations were paralyzed, earning a $900 million profit for the trader, who is believed to have links to Hamas.
Quote:

On Monday they published a report into their findings titled: 'Trading on Terror?'

They've speculated that the cash may have been funneled back into Hamas' operations. Jackson and Mitts did not identify who was behind the trades, but noted they were highly unusual.

'Our findings suggest that traders informed about the coming attacks profited from these tragic events, and consistent with prior literature we show that trading of this kind occurs in gaps in U.S. and international enforcement of legal prohibitions on informed trading,' they write.
Quote:

And another trader made a remarkable 227,000 short transactions on October 2 against the EIS - the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), a security traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

The EIS gives investors exposure to Israeli exchange-traded funds.

The value of EIS fell by 7.1 percent on October 11 - the first day the U.S. market was open after the terror attack - and within the first month lost 17.5 percent of its value, meaning that that one trader profited handsomely from the October 2 trades.

Quote:

'Although we see no aggregate increase in shorting of Israeli companies on US exchanges, we do identify a sharp and unusual increase, just before the attacks, in trading in risky short-dated options on these companies expiring just after the attacks,' they wrote.

Hamas, which since 1997 has been proscribed as a terrorist organization by the United States, cannot carry out transactions on the open market.

Any Hamas figures who tried to do so risk having their assets frozen by the U.S. Treasury.

But the group has taken advantage of innovative financing systems, such as cryptocurrency.

A Wall Street Journal report found that, between August 2021 and June 2023, three terror groups - Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and its Lebanese ally, Hezbollah - collectively received over $134 million in crypto.

Hamas received some $41 million in digital currency over the nearly two-year period, the Journal reported.

Islamic Jihad received $93 million.
Mossad needs to add a few more names to their kill list if what is alleged can be proven.

They didn't release all the women and children as negotiated because they don't want the stories of their captivity/treatment/abuse to ever come out.

Gazans are scum, including almost all of the 'civilian' population.

More terrorism from right next to a hospital (likely where the rockets are stored until deployed.)

And yet again the UNRWA is complicit as a partner with Hamas, not just in propaganda/funding but in actual crimes:

Dem Senators demand Biden 'stop asking nicely' that Israel decrease 'civilian' deaths in Gaza.

That's the headline. Excerpt from hotair:

Quote:

They warned Biden's national security team that any aid from the United States to Israel must include assurances of steps from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government.
Quote:

"The truth is that if asking nicely worked, we wouldn't be in the position we are today," Sanders said in a floor speech. It was time for the United States to use its "substantial leverage" with its ally, the Vermont senator said.
"And we all know what that leverage is," he said, adding, "the blank-check approach must end."
Biden has requested about $106B in aid for Ukraine, Israel, and other national security needs. Needless to say, the senators' demand has gotten the attention of the White House and Israel.

The Hamas leader is in Qatar. He was set up with an office there by the previous dim administration. Our current potato was VP at the time.

Hard to punish them for doing what we asked them to do.

A good analysis at Ace of Spades of the ceasefire in Gaza and how it may have helped the Israelis.

Quote:

Two points to think about today. The first is what did Israel gain from the ceasefire? Was it really worth pausing the successful ground campaign? Short (and long) answer is yes and you'll see my thinking shortly. The second is that now is time to begin thinking about The Day After Hamas. What happens when Israel finally crushes Hamas, somebody representing the Palestinians surrenders, and the war is over?
But first, why the pause in the fighting in the first place? The easy answer is because of the hostages. OK, sure. They were important, but taking a broader view, there are many other advantages that the Israeli Defense forces (IDF) gained from the pause.

First, they never really let up the pressure on Hamas. Yes, there was a general cessation to fighting, but almost every break by Hamas in the ceasefire was met with an overwhelming response. Further, the IDF continued to maneuver their forces and this worked to keep Hamas off balance.

Second, the IDF was able to consolidate their gains. This allowed them to dig in, secure their lines of communications and logistics and neutralize any undiscovered IEDs and, yes, I'll say it because I'm an old curmudgeon…booby traps. (And not the Joe Mannix kind) The pressure brought by the IDF in these areas also prevented Hamas "stay-behinds" from causing much mischief.

Those aren't exactly "large" pumps…1000 cubic meters per hour is only 4400 GPM. Keep in mind that some oil pipeline pumps do about 20-30,000 GPM. And if you really want to get crazy, I think there's a nuke plant that has cooling water pumps at 80,000 GPM. So maybe not small, but they could do bigger if they really wanted.
