Well, they were told to get out of Gaza City if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure "unless you take refuge in a christian church" wasn't added to the instructions.
Hamas and it's membership has shown again and again they are pure evil - on par with the Nazis in WWII just on a smaller scale. They would exterminate every Jew on the planet if they had the ability to do so. I don't recall us holding back on the Germans. We leveled entire towns and regions, church's included in order to root them out and totally defeat them. While sad to see historical structures damaged or destroyed, they are buildings that can be rebuilt and/or remembered.

Everyone involved has been thoroughly warned what is coming. Israel has every right to target any facility, anywhere, anytime they deem necessary in order to end this scourge on humanity. The existential threat to the Jews as well as their moral imperative is crystal clear.

Unlikely he's in Gaza. Probably in Qatar. Maybe the West Bank, but the Israelis just rounded up a whole bunch of Hamas people there.

Will be interesting to hear 1) why the building was targeted and who was in it and in the event Israel was justified in the strike 2) why the church is associated with valid military targets.

Or it could just be bad intelligence and an unfortunate event in a war zone.


Former congressman had family taking shelter there. Very sad.

It's known that he's in Qatar. I'm not sure why he hasn't already been assassinated but you know he's on the list and the plan to do so is imminent.

Sad to see, but why were they still in Gaza City? Israel told civilians to leave several days ago.

I'm not. But then again I got shouted down 5 or 10 pages ago that nobody outside of Israel is influencing the decision at all and they're about to go! Just gotta get extra special ready!

much less have a ground invasion which will be many more civilian casualties!

There's a difference between helping to start the **** storm and coming to help clean it up. Russia and the Iranians may have had a hand in starting this for their own reasons, but they sure as hell aren't going to help do anything else.
