I would imagine they have left some connectivity/radio comms up just for the sake of listening in, so far. Full jamming to follow, pending ground assault from I assume multiple directions up to the river (initially).

Cliff notes? No but it helps to keep in mind that Arabs and North Africans are tribal. (Like Afghanistan) The notion of statehood is not a concept to them. And by statehood I mean a government agreed to by the people. They instead have kingdoms and dictatorships. There's a reason for that.

Egypt had a leader, Gamal Abdel Nasser who came up through the military and became the second elected President of Egypt in 1954. Nasser believed in Pan-Arab Nationalism, a way to unite the tribes, for lack of a better term. That was earthshattering and truly a large concern not only for the West but of the longstanding kingdoms, monarchies and dictatorships. very controversial. He was also a modernist and socialist and envisioned a world where the Pan-Arabs had seats at the big tale with other world leaders.

He was assassinated in 1970.

ETA: Or "died" in 1970. Historians disagree on the cause of death. Better?

I don't think so, if there was going to be a coordinated joint "invasion" of Israel by multiple parties they would have launched them at the same time last Saturday. Israel isn't going be surprised again and have mobilized reserve units all across the border with Lebanon. I doubt Hesbollah will muster much more than rocket attacks and some isolated ground clashes with militia types.

If this was the case why wouldnt Hezbollah have attacked by now? Wouldn't we see evidence that they're massing troops for an invasion at least? They've completed missed any element of surprise and now Israel is fully prepared to defend that area.

I'm sure these 'leaders' have conversations about readiness all the time. Their existence is predicated on attacking Israel. These meetings dont mean much in my opinion

I wonder if they are getting a response from Israel they did not expect. Bibi declared war it seems in less than 24 hrs. Perhaps they thought better about it after their initial plan was foiled?

Yes, the issue is that it is both (a) plausible/realistic, and (b) if so, I'm not sure what the Israeli's have/can do that would be disruptive/not anticipated.



To me it implies they have a nuclear capability (Russians might have helped them build one but not test it yet), perhaps even implanted in/about Tel Aviv/Jerusalem etc already. As John F Kerry/Obama/Jarret's buddies just want to kill jews and have no concern for collateral casualties, I am deeply concerned.

Biden must be removed from office asap (legally). The prospect of his handler team being 'in charge' amidst a nuclear conflagration in the Middle East is terrifying.
