So I mentioned last night that Ft Hood was very active last night and a bit the night before. This has been BY FAR the most active week since Covid.

Tonight we were up at Lake Belton High School for some Thursday night JV and younger football and both Apache and Chinook helicopters were doing touch and gos and flying around the Temple Airport, which often acts as an auxilliary airport.for the Army Base. This is only a mile or so off of I35 and probably 25 or so miles east of Hood as the helicopters fly.

Have not seen this much action around the base in about five years. Not even close.

Thing I note from today is the Blinken presser with Netanyahu.

At one point, Netanyahu sets the example for Israel to follow in referencing the American actions against ISIS post-2016.

That action was a triumph of Jacksonian foreign policy and the concept of waging total war against terrorists rather than paying them bribe money or calling them a jv team to avoid addressing the issue.

You could see a bit of a look on Blinken's face when Netanyahu sent that message. At that point, he knew the invitation to play by the "rules" they set with ISIS and the Taliban would not even be considered here. He knew Israel wasn't going to go with the tepid approach towards terrorism displayed by Obama and Biden since 2009.
