Once Israel enters Gaza, they're doing so knowing most of the hostages they won't be able to rescue. If their approach is to annihilate all those in Gaza, that type of fighting will be easier than trying to spare some people.

There is no way to predict the dominos that will fall as a result of this but we better all pray Israel is successful.

At this point, does Israel care about that? Palestine wants to exterminate Jews. The question was if they lose the iron dome do they launch? It is a real possibility. If they lose the Iron Dome, they would be over run and cease to exist. At that point they don't care about making more enemies, they are about to be exterminated.

If there was ever a time to use a nuke, Israel would have the justification.


Yes more hatred. It'd be an outright war without using proxies. It'd be end of world, world War 3 type of situation with likely Muslim nations sunni/Shia, who war with each other, banding together to fight for the destruction of Israel and any other nation who stands with Israel

I don't think they care about killing civilians at this point, and they shouldn't. Most of Gaza was celebrating in the streets and a bunch of them have taken part in or celebrated the execution of hostages. They may have thought this was great yesterday, but in the next few months they're going to realize that this was a terrible ****ing idea and everything they've visited on Israel for the past decades is about to come back at them with a righteous vengeance.

I truly have no idea how this can go.

You have a pending ground movement precipitated basically on hate alone. Worst case scenario is super bleak. Room to room fighting. Fallujah style but with 2 million people instead of a few thousand. The Jews aren't even trying to pretend they are not fueled with vengeance either. Clear out Hamas infrastructure and support sure. But likely just going to kill a bunch of them too as a cherry on top. The problem is it will be close quarters urban combat and that is never a clean affair. Ever. Especially not with the last couple of days.

Israel is about to kill a lot of people. I just don't think they are going to come out "the winners" in the world's eyes. The bar for public opinion on Israel is just so damn high. Especially against professional victims like Palestine.

I don't begrudge them for what is about to happen but damn me if I don't think this is ultimately a lose/lose situation either for them.

Yep, they would replace a leader with an equally bad one. You cannot fret over annihilating women and children that are members of the cult to which they belong.
