The most interesting facet of this isn't what Israel is doing right now. Aboriginals and Indians and tribes in Africa could have predicted the response from them. What the world will be waiting for is Monday and the response from American politics. For those of you who are going to retort that we need to stay out of other countries business..... I didn't say we should or shouldn't respond/retaliate, I said, the world will be watching to see how we respond, and thats a fact, with no speaker and the weakest president in American history.

From the Jerusalem Post:

An IDF source estimated that full Israeli control of all of the invaded areas might be restored within hours, and would not take days.

The IDF has also undertaken an unknown number of counter-airstrikes, but more importantly, has moved 31 brigades into the area and is mobilizing four full reserve divisions to the area in one of the largest reservist mobilizations in decades. About 80,000 reservists were called up during the 2014 Gaza War.

I would think that Israel talks to Egypt about closing their border near Gaza. Because the IDF is coming and they bringing hell with them. If Israelis are in hot pursuit and the Hamas fighters are beelining it to get into Egypt?

Could get OOC very fast.

Indians were every bit as savage (if not more so) than Palestinians. Naive northeasterners blamed white settlers for indian violence and thought that if only they could restrain settlers, then the violence would end. They were proven brutally wrong. Eventually we woke up, and treated the indians as enemy combatants like they really were. We hunted them down until they gave up. Boom.. violence ended. Weird how liberalism never works regardless of what century its tried.

Quite a bit of footage out now. Lots of dead. Have also yet to see a single Hamas body with any overt western tech on it. AKs and those ****ty ME AK vests on. Lots of civilian clothing.

Also saw some of the initial Israeli casualties. Zero doubt they were caught off guard completely. I saw the barracks from the earlier news. Some hadn't even made it off their racks. And several half dressed in sleep wear with their equipment haphazardly thrown on before they were gunned down.

This has been a catastrophic intelligence failure for Israel. There is going to be a lot of sleepless nights for their intel guys in the near future.
