It's truly amazing how quickly the Israelis are hunting these guys down and eliminating them throughout multiple countries. I can only imagine the intelligence network they have to make this happen so efficiently. If I was in the Hamas deck of cards, I would be about 50' underground and wouldn't stick my head out for the next couple years.

Usually by watching to see when their family holds a funeral.

One of their seniors lost his entire family at some point. Remember him saying something about hoping "Allah made it easy on them". He might not have enough family to hold a funeral upon his elimination. Want to say it was sinwar but don't remember

in the case of Yehiya Sinwar we will know- likely because there are hostages near him at all times to prevent the IDF from taking him out

also, the Shabak and Aman have enough intelligence assets to understand when senior commanders are killed

Seeing as Israel is slowly taking out leaders one by one and Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have been getting embarrassed you know something is about to happen. Plus with US forces moving around the intel is probably showing some kind of massive attack.

This may be the attack they wanted to do a few months ago but they all have the motivation to work together. If they do attack at the same time we are closer to WW3, even more so with Russia moving assets into Syria the past few days and Turkey being outspoken against the west.

Not sure that this is the best response for Iran to make, but agree that it's time to buckle up...

Iran probably wants to go to war with us so will rebuild the country afterwards and then leave them with a **** load more weapons like Afghanistan and Iraq

If Iran launches ballistic missiles, then they don't need to worry about us. Israel has the capability to level Tehran. That's why I'm skeptical of that tweet. I don't think that the mullahs really want to ride that train.

Iran's government feels like they have to do something to uphold their machismo reputation and give their people something to look at.

I don't think they want a wide scale war. Their oil is toast in that situation and they lose their economy.

Perhaps this time they do a bit more coordination with Hezbollah on the response but they also have no desire to see Hezbollah wiped out. Hezbollah is their crown jewel.

Israel is use to being attacked on their home turf. They deal with rocket and terror attacks weekly if not daily. If Iran launches direct attacks on Israel with more than just a "show of force" they are about to FAFO. If Israel can hide a bomb in a residence run by the Iranian Republican Guard for months and blow it at a selected time, think of what they have ready to go at various military and industrial sites around that country? If Iran is smart, they "don't want that smoke".
