Does In-N-Out make its own bread? That's a weird ass exemption that must benefit some Cali based company.

Forget two teas. Based on the loophole in the OP, sounds like those McDonald's locations need to start baking their own bread.

EDIT: amercer beat me to it.

Nah, just going to start making and selling their own hamburger buns. What a stupid exemption.

Secondary point, why every fast food place in every city?

I may not be the smartest guy when it comes to economics, but I'm thinking that the workers at the local McDs don't need as much money to live as do the ones in one of the booming suburbs of Dallas.

Has he already created a law banning kiosks and apps to order? Or is that next?

The tiny possibility that may actually benefit?

If the FF joints actually shutting down over this, maybe some of those land manatees will lose some weight.

Pretty amazing legislators don't realize how easy it is to add bread to a menu.

They won't be able to afford to eat fast food regardless once a burger, fries, and drink cost $20+. Fast food already is about the same cost as eating at a low end restaurant as it is. Now Itl be more than eating out, minus tips.

Side topic, shouldn't tips be made mandatory too?

But are there further details in the bill that requires the bread to be made on site?

Because a lot of places merely bakes a pre-made blob of dough made elsewhere.

incrementalism.

first FF workers

then next group.

The ALL of them.

All about buying votes to hide that they are causing the inflation that is the underlying issue.

Yep. Every initial ground breaking initiative passed by libs is only the beginning step of their long term plot. It's always meant as a stepping stone leading towards socialism, division, and cultural decay.

Ban liberals, everywhere.
