There is no version of communism that actually works.

Grew up close to Canada and in high school or when visiting in the winter while in college, we would fund ski trips to Whistler by taking up handles of whiskey and vodka and cartons of cigarettes and selling them in the parking lot. Canadian customs never searched at the border and we even sold stuff to cops. The sin taxes on booze and tobacco were literally that high.
