Quote:

Kyle Rittenhouse launches nonprofit

Now, Rittenhouse is creating a nonprofit in the state with help from well-connected, far-right political actors.

In a July 23 filing with the Texas secretary of state's office, he described "The Rittenhouse Foundation" as a nonprofit that "protects human and civil rights secured by law, including an individual's inalienable right to bear arms" and "ensures the Second Amendment is preserved through education and legal assistance."

The foundation's directors are Rittenhouse, Texas Gun Rights President Chris McNutt and Shelby Griesinger, treasurer for Defend Texas Liberty PAC, a key financier of far-right candidates in the state. The foundation's registered agent is the law firm of Tony McDonald, who has for years represented Empower Texans and other deep-red organizations.

Defend Texas Liberty and Empower Texans have received tens of millions of dollars from a trio of West Texas oil tycoons Tim Dunn and brothers Farris and Dan Wilks who have for decades funded campaigns, nonprofits and movements to promote their ultraconservative religious and social views.
Good for him.
Job prospects pretty tough for him, this is a great move to keep in the public speaking realm while potentially making six figures.
Hope he keeps his nose clean and makes a good living.

He has no other means of income. Anyone who hires him will be endlessly harassed by the leftist social media moron freak brigade (the actual nazis).

Kid didn't listen to his lawyers. After trial Roberts told him to keep a low profile but he couldn't resist. Not his fault though, all the MAGA people wanted to make him a God. At 18 it's be hard for me too

This kid had one funky night (that I wouldn't have personally recommended) and ended up having to kill a couple piece of **** criminals.

As a result, his ability to have a normal job to support himself are gone forever.

He's leveraging the only thing he has. Can't blame him for it.

Notice that the definition and description of conservatives as 'far right' continues to swallow up more and more conservatives.

This is by design of the mainstream media.... of which the Texas Tribune (who is the original source of this story) is a part of.

Do they ever use the term far-left to describe high profile far- leftists? NO.

Grift means money made dishonestly. He is upfront about what he wants to do and you are calling it a grift.

What is the dishonesty here? Sounds like sour grapes from all of you calling this a grift.

The Black Lives Matter lesbians were equally up front about what they wanted to do. And then they did something else.

This kid is famous for being egregiously stupid, and he's going to have a bunch of people hand money over to him to continue to be what he is.

The difference between Rittenhouse and the BLM broads is that Rittenhouse is unlikely to ever be discovered, because while people actually believed in the BLM people's message and donated because of the message, Rittenhouse is primarily a vehicle to piss off the left not protect the second amendment and even if he uses his non-profit for personal enrichment it won't matter to the people donating to him because it will still piss off the left.

How was he egregiously stupid? I don't get that. Are you saying that you don't have the right to defend yourself? The courts obviously rendered their opinion and he is a free man. So tell me how stupid he was for defending himself against attackers?

You don't know the words you are posting and you don't know what a "grift" is. You should probably use other words to describe it if you are capable of that.

The decision to defend himself wasn't the only decision he made that night. There were plenty of decisions he made and he's just ****ing lucky that the 3 people that he shot weren't also carrying a gun, because he'd have been buried right along side the malcontents he killed. He was really close to losing his weapon and his life despite the fact they didn't have a gun.

He was, and is, egregiously stupid. He admitted as much, briefly, until he started getting people like those on this forum tossing money and attention his way.

Oh, you mean the "medic" didn't have his gun pointed at Kyle's head BEFORE Kyle shot him? That he didn't testify, under oath, that he did exactly that with his pistol? That he did not straight up admit in court that he has a gun to Kyle's head? That never happened?

The worst thing about the whole damn case, was the incredible amount of intentional misinformation that people like you lapped up without a second thought.

I don't even care about engaging in political discussions anymore but holy **** this is so intentionally wrong I have to correct. You're welcome. You are now armed with the facts. Carry on!

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about

There were 3 attackers. The first democrat was the ******* pedo released from a max security prison. Undoubtedly by a democrat DA/Governor. He wrestled Rittenhouse for the gun, and lost. That POS started the chain of events.

The 2nd democrat was a wife beater. He attacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard. Arguably, the most unfortunate of the three, he likely didn't know what was going on, possibly didn't see Rittenhouse's rifle, and people were yelling at Rittenhouse (walking away, on his phone) . So i can see why he did what he did.

The third democrat attacker (also had. criminal record) WAS armed with a gun. Rittenhouse was on the ground, democrat pointed his gun, then lowered it. When he raised it at Rittenhouse a second time, Rittenhousoe shot him in his arm , bro yelled for the medic, and his gun was FROZEN in his arm. (he lost control of his fingers, and the gun was in his handd)

Yet the CNN picture showed only his bloody arm, not the gun, probably to fool the useful idiots.
Twitter/CNN also said Rittenhouse "randomly" shot at people. Bull***** He "randomly" shot 3 democrats all with criminal records, one of whom was a pedophile .

Again, you have no ****ing idea what you are talking about

There is no need for praise or sour grapes here. It's unnecessary for the right wingers to suckle the cod of some kid who made poor choices because of poor parental
Involvement which somehow, by the grace of god and the universe ended up with a lot of free passes as a result. He's here by pure luck. Let's not lose sight of the fact that aside from pandering to certain folks, this guy has no future or serious means of generating income otherwise.

Like I said, no reason for anyone to get bent out of shape one way or the other. He will now spend the rest of his life having to be continuously creative in order to maintain relevance and an income stream. Otherwise, he'll end up like that other doofus David Hogg….he's totally inconsequential and not even a footnote now aside from this post. All of this because of one single ill advised decision. C'est la vie…

The moment you reference "right wingers" is the moment I turn you off. There are no "right wingers". There are only people who believe in the foundation of America as a perfect form of government and those who seek to dismantle that government.

Yeah, none of that is a refutation that Rittenhouse was stupid for being there in the first place. You're reading "Rittenhouse was a murderer." When all I said was he's stupid for having gone to the protests in the first place.

I didn't remember all of the details exactly because it's been 3 years and I didn't follow it like I was watching some hero like some of you goobers and had forgotten the last guy had a gun, which even further legitimizes the statement that he's one lucky dumb SoB to have gotten out of there alive.

I paid close enough attention to realize he was innocent due to it being self defense and moved on from the dumb kid. I feel sorry for him for getting labeled a murderer and I feel sorry for him for getting labeled a hero for being stupid.

It looks more like political operatives are using Rittenhouse's notoriety for their benefit, and he'll get a piece of the action. I don't believe for an instant he's the brains behind the non-profit or will receive much more than a handsome wage.

It beats trying to pass classes at Blinn I'm sure, and allows him to trade on his most marketable asset. Good for him.
