The issue that we have is that a lot of shallow thinkers feel he is some kind of hero and 2A rights advocate. He might be an advocate now, but he has to be. He owes his entire life and future income on the 2A crutch.

That's what's frustrating about it. He's basically the fat kids that carried AR15s into Whataburger because "we can, merka, **** yeah!" These are not heroes. These are boneheads. As long as the blind "people on the right side of the political spectrum" (don't want to say right wing because it's triggering to some posters), continue to support dumb people who make dumb decisions and use the 2A as a crutch we can watch the gun rights go down the toilet daily. That is not what the 2A was meant for and the fact so many seem to think it is is embarrassing.

Like I tell my teenage kids "make sure you pick proper role models and heroes".

Complete miss. Did you pay any attention to the trial where prosecutors tried to put Rittenhouse in jail for murder and gun crimes? Rittenhouse became the "hero" that he is because of the media's complete misrepresentation of the facts as well as Biden and other elected officials baselessly asserting that he was a white supremacist. The left created a false narrative overnight that unbelievably held up until the trial started and the main stream media was FORCED to cover the actual facts of the case.

Rittenhouse's victory was a triumph over lying Democrats and their media shills. That is why Rittenhouse is a "hero". That he killed some of your comrades is just gravy.

Rittenhouse should never have been prosecuted. It was obvious to anyone that watched the video from that night. He was put thru hell by cowardly and hateful Democrats to appease their idiot base. Yeah, I'll admit it, the then 17 year old kid that endured all that is kind of a "hero".

Also, it's hysterical to me that people on the left would criticize people on the right for thinking well of Rittenhouse when their side is building f'ing statues to that pos George Floyd.

The fat kids have every right to have an AR-15 at Whataburger. The right to bear arms isn't predicated on what you or anyone else thinks is "reasonable" exercise of that right.
