I used to vacation down the beach in Waimanalo from the property. It was the site of the original "Robin's Nest" from Magnum PI. The word was that it was purchased by a friend of the Obamas for them to build a huge house. But Hawaiian building codes prohibit houses on the beach greater than a certain size. The last I heard, they were going to have to build multiple buildings to have the square footage that they desired.

The rock formation in the water is an ancient honu enclosure for keeping turtles. Only royalty were allowed to eat honu and this was where they were kept.

I agree with you. I don't have any children and I've got maybe 20 or 30 years left. After that, I don't care. So I'm driving my F-250 because the earth is just a cosmic speck in an endless series of cosmic specs and, frankly, I don't care whether or not its inhabitable for your children or grandchildren.

5- A little over 420 parts per million. Had to google that one.
6- enough to provide enough greenhouse effect that the earth is not covered in glaciers, but not enough that the oceans are becoming measurably more acidic. The scientific consensus seems to be around 350 ppm. Again, had to google that one.

Thank you for proving my point, that until someone asked, you had no idea. Also still can't answer ideal temperature. You mention "Industrial Revolution" but we haven't been measuring that long. There is absolutely no "45 angle" the earth temp has not changed in any way in 13 years, and the biggest fear mongers claim it will increase 2 degrees over the next 80-100 years, but lemmings currently think it's getting hotter every day and literally no one is claiming that but the media. Speaking of the media, have you checked to see how YOUR state is outpacing global warming? Because every place in the world is according to the newspapers. It's such a sham.
