Why do you believe that? I've seen nothing to indicate Dems are mad. Where are you seeing that?

I don't think they care who runs.

With demographic changes and MIBs, they think they have a lock.

You need to watch meet the press from this last week and the other interview where the guy walked off after being asked about Hunter saying he has to kick up 50% to Pops.

It's getting chippy. Not getting my hopes too high, but I am with the Cosmonaut and wanting to see them eat their own Donner Dinner Party style.

New indictment against Hunter will go through and he will spend time in Jail. Maybe only a few months at minimum cushy prison. Guaranteed!

The Democrats/Biden KNOW they cannot run 4 indictments against Trump on questionable charges and leave Hunter free and clear with so much evidence against him.

The gun charge will dominate news and all the tax evasion and bribery will be pushed even more to the back.

It will show how "fair" the DOJ and American justice system are to the American people. And all in time for next year's election.

Actually the scuttle Judge Jeanine talked about was the diversion agreement being upheld allowing him to skirt the gun charge. That would not surprise me at all.

Once Joe is removed from office then Hunter loses Secret Service protection, no?

Plus, Hunter is not going to jail. Either Weiss goes with something else on the 29th or the court will be held to the diversion agreement.

I am really not getting how that diversionary agreement would be binding upon the judge. DOJ tried to dismiss the charge against Flynn but the federal judge, Sullivan, was having none of that.

I will try to find the clip from Pirro on The Five yesterday, but she was indicating that since the judge does not sign off on the diversion agreement, then the judge has no ability to disregard. This is in contrast to the plea deal which the judge does have a role in accepting / not accepting.

Seems bizarre to me and you bring up an interesting comparison to the Flynn fiasco.

I guess my point was more directed towards the judge's authority to at least make the parties brief her about that particular issue. It is not the same as the diversionary agreement being in return for anything Hunter has done, raising a specific performance type of contractual argument, such as Hunter in good faith, did his part of the agreement but DOJ reneged type of argument. Showing up to court for a plea deal is not adequate consideration for this diversionary agreement, in my view.

We just need a low level judge in Georgia to say exec privilege is nothing but RICO run amuck and must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of state and local law above all other laws.

At least that is how I now understand the game is played.
