Don't particularly like Ice Cube based on past antisemitic remarks, but at least he's willing to speak his mind and hasn't been brainwashed into the Dem cult like so many others around him. I guess if there's a benefit to the gangsta rap lifestyle, it involves a healthy skepticism of authority.
Examples? Not doubting you, just trying to see what we are talking about. From my experience, the bar is very low often times for what passes as "anti-semitic". He made anti-white remarks in the past as well, and I forgive him. I think he was dabbling with Nation of Islam at one point in his life when he was making most of his angry music, so I would assume he was pretty young if/when he made any bad remarks about Jews.
You can Google it. Seems like he has held beliefs similar to those promulgated by the Black Hebrew Israelites, which it seems like a lot of prominent black people fall into. I don't know if he still maintains those beliefs, but he has said things in the past to the effect of blacks being the real Jews. Not saying he openly hates on Jews to any major extent, but that kind of theology is anti-Semitic at the ideological level.
I don't really hold it against him, just lose what little personal respect I would have for him unless he were to openly reverse course. Not that I ever looked to him as some thought leader. He's just an entertainer at the end of the day.
I'll compliment him in that he generally comes across as someone who isn't a complete left wing loon like the majority in his industry. And he's been in some decent movies.
Edit: just googled it myself, and the liberal rags show that he has added some extra evidence in the last few years. I don't put any faith in the places reporting it, but it does line up with things he's said in the past.
