I watched this video and have mixed thoughts on it.

I've always thought that Rap videos looked like they were produced by the KKK. Certainly full of racist stereotypes about black people.

While i totally understand and am inclined to share in your reaction, knowledge of history actually proves that nothing-ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - is too absurd to be true when it comes to the government.

It was never about the sound of the music? That would provide clarity and explain a LOT of the previously incomprehensible popularity of the rap & hip/hop genres

I could see a co-opting of Hip Hop, but there have been some amazing artists just expressing their experiences and thoughts. But the genre went from telling stories to championing the seven deadly sins in such short order, I wouldn't be surprised if the feds put their thumb on the scale (ex. paying for certain songs to get played more / less).

Not a psy-op. Just a lifestyle. That stuff is all still there, it's just not promoted on a mainstream level anymore. The psy-op is that they don't want the majority of voters to know that lifestyle even exists. It hurts the narrative.

Lots of local events.

What better way for communists to sow distrust in local police and get the citizenry to accept the idea of nationalizing/federalizing ("reimagining" if you will) policing than promoting NWA and F tha Police and all the chaos and anarchy in the streets we can handle?

I will never discount the evil nature of the CIA, or the heinous atrocities they have committed, domestically and abroad. But did this guy really just claim that Ice Cube didn't write the lyrics to the NWA songs? That the CIA did? Or at the very least sat down with him and told him to write about police brutality, not giving in to gold diggers, bragging about their hood etc?

That is a VERY bold claim. So Ice Cube and all of his former band mates KNOW THIS and have kept this secret all along. And the CIA trusted them to keep this secret?

It's even more absurd than whacked out 9/11 conspiracy theories. Why would the CIA, which is tasked with foreign intelligence, give a crap about domestic entertainment?

Mena Arkansas, Papa Bush runs guns and Drugs through Clinton's backyard with a promise he will be a made man..... and No Way he was....

This started in the 50's & 60's and yes most of your favorite bands from the era are/were CIA Tavistock created.

Hip Hop of the 80's was hijacked to create gangsta rap and further divide families, keep more dads in FOR PROFIT PRISONS (thanks Kamala for keeping that going in CA).

If you look into the information on your own, it all is connected, a great start is Richard Grove's (from Grand Theft World) The Brain. The 2018 version is free and the updated is behind a paywall.

Probably more along the lines Jerry Heller (Paul Giamatti's character in the NWA flick) was. And according to Ice Cube, Heller did not own any Vaseline.

Why would the CIA, which is tasked with foreign intelligence, sign off on a DNC-initiated letter that claims Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation in order to interfere with and impact the outcome of the peoples' domestic national election?

I listened to the Rogan podcast with Ice Cube yesterday. Unless Cube has a really good poker face, I can't see NWA being a tool created by the CIA after listening to it. Not to say that maybe CIA didn't jump on this and use the momentum like we saw the government do with Covid.

CIA had nothing to do with NWA. Ice Cube has most recently been in the news for being an anti-vaxxer.

Unless you think the woke types are right, and the US government is still actively working behind the scenes to keep black people down.

You really need some healthy skepticism (or common sense) in your life. Break the chains from dear daddy government.

Yeah, I could see the CIA working behind the scenes to maybe promote certain pop cultural phenomenon and artforms...but I heard that interview too...and there is zero chance the CIA was working with NWA or any of these gangster rappers directly. These conspiracy theorists could easily make the exact same claims or arguments about a lot of anti-establishment heavy metal and grunge too. You know how many anti-establishment rebellious kids that music helped fuel or energize?

The CIA was interested in rooting out communists and anti-war rhetoric when they were pushing the modern art and LSD stuff. Say what you want about urban black culture, but in the 80's it was not particularly communist. It was mostly leave me the F alone and let me get rich doing whatever the hell it takes.

You still see that with those guys, the ones that are still around are mostly super capitalists that put their name on everything.

Geto Boys early 90's anti abortion song "The Unseen". George HW Bush psy-op to boost anti-abortion sentiment?

Quote:

These busted ass wh*res are going crazy
You might as well take a gat and point them at babies..
And watch their motherf***ing brains, split
And take the wrap for the murder you did, you son of a b*tch
Cause killing babies ain't gank
Suppose your mamma would've flushed your *ss down her *ss crack
You dumb ass wh*res with no hope for
Killing babies ain't ****, you wanna vote for
They're just trying to wipe our *ss out
Cause the n*ggas be the ones with their bellies all poked out
And even like to be decided by another
You need to pass me a gat, and let me kill some of you motherf***ers
That's why I'm glad we got n*ggas
Because this world would be f***ed if it was ran by you stupid b*tches
At least give the kids a chance
And if you're going unprotected, keep your p***y in your panties
Cause you wh*res will get the Guillotine
If I was the judge for one of you b*tches killing off the unseen

I'm not saying there wasn't reason, but take a look at "country" radio: it's a business that doesn't GAF about the "music" it produces. Cody Jinks gets snubs for snap tracks because the people pulling the strings are making decisions off of spreadsheets and don't have a clue what music is good or not.

Lots of folks are listening to inferior music as we speak because of established business models that aren't meritocratic.

So could someone get songs into kids ears and $ from their pockets because they're financially incentivized to push an artist or type of content? It's happening every day.

I agree...but My Christian conservative buddies are still listening to 90's era gangster rap, grunge rock, and cheesy 80's hits on the golf course every time we get together. I think that stuff was really selling, organically.

Regardless of whether that is the case or not...I don't think there is any way the CIA had direct involvement in creating or producing this music, as seems to be the claim in the OP. Now do they know some influencers at radio stations? Do they know some record execs? Maybe.

Well I haven't read anything on the RAP and CIA idea but have on the CIA and the other topics. I just wouldn't dismiss their involvement knowing their history.

For example it was either the CIA or the Mossad or both behind Epstein. CIA director met with him several times we just learned. So if you came to me a few years ago and told me the CIA was part of a massive plot to traffic teen girls my response wouldn't have been, "how does that fight communism". My response would have been "really? tell me more."
