Might be part of the contributing factor. But the root cause remains. Hunter voluntarily sat through a national interview where he stated that he was unqualified for jack squat that paid him well because of his father. Hunter has also been on record criticizing his father and despising his stepmother.

IMHO, this addict has been on a slow burn that has all of the sudden accelerated exponentially. You got to see it through his twisted lens to understand. He does not care about tomorrow or the consequences... he has already checked out and trying to settle some scores in his crackhead mental state before he departs this World.
