Isn't the "Hunter did it" thing just a little too obvious to be true? I mean, talk about low hanging fruit! You guys can do better than that, can't you?safelightKL said:ArcticPenguin said:

I feel sorry for you. You have fully succumbed to media propaganda. FYI the West Wing is not open to public tours. Regardless, the dispatch audio clearly states the coke was found in the library. Also, cokehead Hunter was confirmed to be in the West Wing. You look silly.

Libs are funny. They're apparently unaware that at a MAG/SECURITY checkpoint you're forced to empty your pockets, and all of your bags are checked too. That's how they keep potential bio-chem weapons out.
Quote:
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on Wednesday pressed the Secret Service for information on its ongoing investigation into the reported discovery of cocaine at the White House.
Why it matters: Republican lawmakers are using the development to raise broader questions about security and drug use at the White House.
Driving the news: Cotton, in a letter to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, called for the agency to "quickly" release information about where in the White House complex the substance was found.
...
"The American people deserve to know whether illicit drugs were found in an area where confidential information is exchanged," Cotton wrote.
Zoom in: The letter asks whether the complex is secure and, if not, the Secret Service's "plan to correct any security flaws."
Cotton wants a "complete list" of people who aren't subject to a full security screening at the White House, statistics on the Secret Service's use of K-9 screenings and details on audits of their security procedures.
He also asked how often the Secret Service has "encountered illegal drugs at the White House complex" in the last five years and whether they will exercise their ability to make an arrest of a suspect is identified.
Spokespeople for the Secret Service and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
LINKQuote:
OSC determined that the violations warrant disciplinary action. Ms. Rollins was provided a copy of the report on April 25, giving her an opportunity to comment. Yesterday, OSC informed Ms. Rollins that this report would be released publicly today. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Ms. Rollins intends to resign by the end of this week.
Ms. Rollins's first violation arose in July 2022 when, in disregard of legal advice from her own agency, and in violation of the Hatch Act, she attended a political party fundraiser in her official capacity.
Her second violation occurred throughout August and September 2022, when she repeatedly attempted to sabotage the campaign of a political candidate by leaking non-public U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) information to the media to plant a story that the candidate she opposed was facing a DOJ investigation. In its report to the President, OSC characterized this violation as "one of the most egregious Hatch Act violations that OSC has investigated."
Ms. Rollins's violations of the Hatch Act were knowing and willful. The report concludes Ms. Rollins understood that leaking non-public information about a potential investigation of a candidate was wrong, yet she engaged in that wrongful activity for a political purpose. Regarding her attendance at the Democratic National Convention fundraiser, Ms. Rollins was specifically advised on how to avoid violating the Hatch Act, and the report concludes she intentionally ignored that advice and attended the event in her official capacity.

They threw everyone off to but a few days to construct the right narrative.

Asking for a friend, does cocaine cause uncontrollable inappropriate laughter and incomprehensible speech?

Jeez, Kamala is actually going to end up making Hunter look good. She acts like a cokehead so wouldn't be surprised if it were her blow.
Maybe. Hunter has basically been restricted to being with his Dad for weeks now. Like he's under Joe's version of House Arrest.VANDY1 said:
This might be way out there... but after this fiasco, is anything really off limits? I honestly believe that Hunter subconsciously wants to bring the big guy down. He hates his father and is a crackhead that wants to get even for being a pawn all his life.
Not to excuse any of that ****show, but Hunter knows that he is on the way out. He hates his father, he despises his stepmother. What better way for a crackhead to exact vengeance slowly....

Nothing would be more poetic in a doomer-dystopian sort of way.
Might be part of the contributing factor. But the root cause remains. Hunter voluntarily sat through a national interview where he stated that he was unqualified for jack squat that paid him well because of his father. Hunter has also been on record criticizing his father and despising his stepmother.aggiehawg said:Maybe. Hunter has basically been restricted to being with his Dad for weeks now.
