Burning a Bible in front of a church is pretty low on the scale compared to other acts done against Christians in this country.

I remember forming a "maroon wall" for a a family who just lost their Army Soldier. He was getting buried in College Station and the funeral as well.

Word got out and those people who protest Soldier funerals said they were coming to protest. We formed a giant maroon wall of Aggies so the family wouldn't have to see those *******s.

I know what it is. But I feel like I only ever hear it brought up as an example of something that obviously has no merit. I'm saying I might not call it great art or incisive commentary, but I get why some people thought it was good.

Burning a Koran or a Bible is nothing more but an incindiary action designed specifically to provoke and enrage for nothing.....

A true Christian is not affected by the burning of a singular Bible by some weirdo...... because we are confident that the Bible will FOREVER be supernaturally preserved by God.

Disrespectful as hell, but if you call yourself a free country, it has to be allowed.

Well, everything is blasphemous according to somebody. I'm seriously just saying I get why it's actually a good photo, this thing that's always kind of a byword for empty shock value. I get how it's totally possible to appreciate it on a level that isn't just like "haha look they put PEEPEE on JESUS."
