It is a piece of art called "piss Christ." The guy took a small crucifix, dropped it into a jar of his urine, then took a picture of it. It was a big deal until everyone forgot about it.

No you're not; if those San Fran Devient Nuns had their asses kicked by someone who took offense to their protected speech, you'd have a hissy fit.

Now he is complaining that the Swedish government isn't protecting him. Lol this is one of those "live with the consequences scenarios. The Iraqi immigrant who burned the Koran, Salvan Momika, is complaining that the Swedish government is not providing him with adequate protection, so now he fears for his life. I know what it is. But I feel like I only ever hear it brought up as an example of something that obviously has no merit. I'm saying I might not call it great art or incisive commentary, but I get why some people thought it was good.BBRex said:

Well, everything is blasphemous according to somebody. I'm seriously just saying I get why it's actually a good photo, this thing that's always kind of a byword for empty shock value. I get how it's totally possible to appreciate it on a level that isn't just like "haha look they put PEEPEE on JESUS."LarryElder said:do you normally associate good works of art with "piss"/? its blasphemousActual Talking Thermos said:I know what it is.
