He basically didn't. Short stint as an athlete (i.e. advertising gimmick) before hopping over to the CIA (if I recall correctly).

I tend to try to not mention it because his Bud Light fiasco is akin to being lumped in with the Navy on the embarassment scale.

lol. He got the bare minimum softballs. Nothing about advertising beer to minors. Nothing about funding advocacy of child genital mutilation. Nothing about his tone deaf commercials (following insult with mockery). Didn't press him when he avoided answering.

They are all on the same ideological side and the whole thing was a coordinated damage control effort. The media hates that the peons are pushing back and see this as a watershed moment. If Bud Light rebounds - theyve won a critical culture war battle. If it continues to fail, they lose a huge ally in corporate cooperation.

Gotta wonder what the Busch family thinks about all this. Probably laughing their asses off.

There's a GREAT book - 'Dethroning The King' about the hostile takeover by InBev. Busch family was so old school rich - commuting to work via helicopter landings on the roof, mahogany & leather everywhere, just oozing excess everywhere.
The InBev CEO flew up in a regular plane, wore blue jeans and stayed at like a Holiday Inn. Busch's didn't take him seriously, and the rest is history.

Having said that, I'd love to see old money's reaction to this woke BS.

The entire interview screams "I thought this job was going to be easy". Nothing about this man tells me that he has any true leadership skills at a scale this large. It's crazy they use their farmers, drivers, brewery workers and distributors as a way to get sympathy. Those people are suffering because of their decisions not the consumer.

Inbev is a global company that is totally out of touch with American consumers. The board hasn't done anything because they don't know any better than the local tard who is tanking Budweiser. The best thing for everybody would be if Inbev just sold Budweiser off to a US buyer at a discounted price so the new buyer could have some financial wiggle room while they rebuild the brand.

Do you honestly think we are "mad" at bud light because they suggested people with gender dysphoria exist?

I can tell from your posts you are a bit naive, but that suggestion is probably your most inane conclusion to date.

I'd redirect you to explain that cheap beer drinkers of the bud light variety mostly vote Republican and would prefer not to buy from brands that advertise through degeneracy and men dressing up as women (in a take me seriously manner). That **** is disgusting and repulsive.

There are a million beer options and bud light and this CEO are brain dead to rock the boat like they did for favorable ESG valuations.

I'll do ya better, for my family, I hope every ideological left supporting company suffers historic crashes just like this. If anything the bud light and target declines have empowered the right to vote with our wallets and leave those brands in the dust. I celebrate their failure.

Who was ABInbev targeting in giving this dude a specialized can to show to his followers? Trans didn't follow him prancing around like a 12 year old girl. The vast majority of followers were teenagers.

unfortunately, distributors and their employees are the ones who are going to suffer from this entirely preventable situation. InBev folks will just fly back to their European headquarters shrugging their shoulders and mumbling about Americans.

Watched until the 5 minute mark. Don't know what y'all saw but I don't think he gave a direct answer to a single question. Not one. Comes off as exactly what he is - a politician busted for something that could cost him his position and now he's doing the image spin tour with the friendly media types.

I'm not mad they acknowledged that mental illness exists and I can claim they're targeting kids because it's not just adults at grocery stores, convenient stores or restaurants.

They gave a middle finger to their customer base, here's their chance to get a new gay one. Let's see if you guys step up.
