If Musk trains seriously at all, with an 80 pound advantage and likely a 2-3 inch reach advantage, this shouldn't be much of a match.

Zuck is freaking tiny.

May I direct you to UFC 1, where a lil BJJ dude pretty much walked through bigger guys who had been training for years in various fighting styles? I hate Zuck (and Elon too) but I think he's got this one.

Reach isn't really going to matter unless Elon has the skill and conditioning to use it effectively and keep Zuck from getting close enough to tangle him up and bring him down. I think Elon's best hope is to land one big shot early on that Zuck isn't able to recover from. Get him reeling and pounce, break his nose and then target it if he doesn't throw in the towel at that point, something like that. The longer it goes on, the worse it's gonna go for Elon I'd expect. If Zuck gets him to the ground he's going to exhaust himself very quickly trying to defend himself and get out.

Also Zuck is much younger. Size matters but I don't think it will be enough to overcome the age and from what I hear, training disadvantage.

Zuck trains with real MMA fighters. Elon takes dumbbells to work. This will be ugly if Elon's pride won't let him tap out.

Royce Gracie wasn't a "lil dude" at 6 foot 180 lbs. And Ken Shamrock whooped his ass later on (even though it was called a draw) after he understood what he was fighting against.
Ken Shamrock was a professional-level athlete in his prime with significant grappling experience who would be fighting at Light Heavyweight in contemporary MMA, Royce would be fighting at Welterweight.

I'm not saying nobody can beat a trained BJJ guy or Royce was the greatest fighter of all time. He wasn't of course. I only mean that someone experienced in BJJ can school a bigger guy, even a serious fighter, who isn't well trained in defending and escaping BJJ techniques and athletic enough to execute those defenses and escapes. I don't think Elon is that guy.

The big randomizing factor here is that, relative to pro MMA fighters, Elon and Zuck are both little sissy dabblers liable to quit if they really get hurt at any point. Neither one of them is fighting through a broken nose or a bad cut or a significantly messed up joint from some grappling exchange etc. So there's a lot of possibilities for the fight to just get ended in some weird way. Someone takes a weird fall and tweaks a knee pretty good, whatever.

I kind of hope it ends when MySpace Tom runs in with a folding chair and takes them both out.

The idea that people are comparing Zuck to a Gracie is ****ing hilarious.

He's a little rich dork that has trainers milking him for $$$. Has he a few skills? I'm sure.

But I doubt he has serious talent or strength or toughness. Nor do I think Elon does.

But if GSP or anyone really does train Elon for 30 days, my money is on the size and strength to over power little Zucks tricks.

Oh, he's no Gracie. Don't get me wrong. If this fight even happens, it is overwhelmingly likely that it's going to be awful and embarrassing for everyone involved. It will be an exceptionally unathletic and uninspiring sporting exhibition. It will be slow and ponderous and probably contested under some stupid ad hoc ruleset.

Mikey Musumeci weighs 134 lbs. Zuck looks like he weighs about 145-150 lbs. musk is probably up around 190# or so. He's not terribly fit but he weighs almost a third more than Zuck.

As someone who has done jiu-jitsu jitsu for 3 years and Muy Thai for 4....

Mikey was not resisting. It's pretty much what you do when u want to let ur partner practice certain body motions to learn them.

The single leg takedown was soft AF. When Zuck crossed over to get the armbar he did a ****ty job of isolating Mikey's free arm when he put his knee on it. Mikey wasn't even trying to counter.

The legs kicks were ****ing laughable.

The pull down into guard was a joke.

Every time Zuckerberg throws a punch he drops his opposite hand. That is something you learn in ur first week of Muy Thai or even traditional boxing not to do or you get rocked.

Please let me fight him instead. I bet musk could pay some very good makeup people to make me look like him.

Zuckerberg might have more experience training but his skill level is what I would put a person with average athletic ability at 6-9 months of decent training in jiu-jitsu and less than 2 months in striking/may Thai.

If he has been training longer than that he is pathetic.

I refuse to cheer for Zuck, but I will laugh at Elon for trying to be epic before realizing this other guy is a very different kind of sociopath from him who is not playing around and just really, sincerely desires to hurt him.

Yep. My youngest son is in MMA at Apex at Blinn. He is a serious badass. Zuck's kicks look like a child's in comparison to my kid. Zuck's punches are weak, too. He is obviously very unathletic, and he will never be able to strike with any power. But if he learns BJJ enough, he could get a submission.

Like you, I wish my son could fight him. Hell, looking at that tape of Zuck, my untrained 56 year old ass could beat him if I had a month or two to train.

I want to see a geared up Musk go into roid rage against a tweaking spidermonkey Zuckerberg and beat the **** out of each other.

That video does look pathetic. Even for training that looked slow, weak, and uncoordinated. And keep in mind, it's a staged video meant for the public. Lol.

I was listening to a podcast about maintaining health through old age. It said people who didn't play ball sports when they were young have a really hard time developing coordination later in life.

I don't know... Elon's a human and Zuck is an android. Kinda seems like cheating if you ask me, they shouldn't let a robot fight a human.

Anyone know what grade Zuck's motors are?

Thats very weird for a public figure like that to have some seemingly random username not associated with themselves. Kind of odd to me, especially someone so involved with social media
