Reminds me of the flags in the "Colonial" Main Street at the Disneys are not true replicas of the US flag(s). As such, they are not bound by the flag standards.

Those companies that miscues the flags should be punished.

In this instance, I think it is a slight for the white house to put the multicolor badge of sexual indiscretion front and center.

Those goal keeping this are, once again, lying.

Simple question: Which flag position represents the most prominent display?
Follow up: is that flag the US flag or not?

They goaltend because it's what good little apparatchiks do when their leaders are receiving justified criticism.

Dude drove to Home Depot to take a picture of some American Flags on sale because the 4th of July is coming up. You know, celebrating our Declaration of Independence.

Nah I was picking up a replacement washer for a garden hose and literally had to walk right past the display

But Section 8(i) of the flag code it pretty clear.

The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should
not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or
otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary
use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the
flag is flown.

Read the code again it's not to be used for any advertising purposes in any manner. The company logo also seems to violate that rule as well.

But all of this is just stupid rhetoric because the flag code is unenforceable and generally disregarded by pretty much everyone.

Violation of flag code by the Chief Executive of our Federal Government isnt even in the same ballpark as flag code violations by the public (who has 1st amendment rights to desecrate said flag).

You're trying WAY too hard. Your boy (and all who defend his anti-American ways) are a disgrace to our founding ideals.

No, and they don't feel any better about the WH display after it's revealed that it actually does comply with the flag code. Because it was never about the flag code, obviously.

Stupid argument. Two separate displays, and each display is subject to the code.

If a courthouse has an American flag on top, and a Confederate Battle Flag in a courtroom, is that okay because the American Flag is still superior.

Honestly though, America is dead. That flag represents something that is long gone. I'd never lift a finger to defend what it has become. I honestly wish you guys wouldn't fly it at all. Fly the gay flag. Fiy the hammer and sickle. Fiy the BLM flag. The fact that you fiy it at all, regardless of manner, is desecration enough. Why not do the apples to apples comparison, which would be a flag on the front of the courthouse and the American flag flying above the courthouse, centered above the other one? Because in that case I'd say yeah that seems to comply.

Sad to see fellow Americans losing their ways.

I can't believe someone is upset that US flags are being sold in between Memorial Day and the 4th of July. And trying to call out some sort of flag code violation for a display in a store.

It sickens me that it's as almost as we glossed over Memorial Day so corporate America can go full pride mode.

Thermoses, particular verbal ones, have a hard time understanding the concept that the US Flag, particularly on US soil, should always be in the foremost prominent position in any presentation to the public.

In this case, the sexual deviancy banner was placed in the most prominent position. Disgusting.
