Elections are won in the suburbs, specifically currently in the Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee and Phoenix suburbs. Those people hate Trump, mostly because they are typically highly educated and [smart enough to recognize that he's an unserious clown.

A lot of this can be traced back to Peck's poor management at the start of the DeSantis overspending on a national race/staff instead of keeping it a lean operation initially focused on the early states. That forced DeSantis to be more closely involved with Never Back Down as invited guests, so the superPAC's attack ads was seen as hurting DeSantis's favorables since they're so closely involved.
I do think this model that Uthmeier is proposing is interesting, Never Back Down for traditional GOTV efforts and Fight Right to broadcast attack ads. Tim Scott folks are moving over to Fight Right which should tell you what they think of Haley. I haven't seen where the Pence folks are going.

1) Another legal victory for DeSantis, proving once again that when he goes to battle he wins the fights. Make no mistake, its not luck that he ends up on the winning side of the battles the vast majority of the time. Yet more proof that he is ready to take on the top office in the land, whether some want to admit it or not.

The last real poll in Iowa was Oct 30. No one knows what is going on in Iowa. Strange that they are polling like crazy but not polling in the place that matters the most and certainly not trying to really do a good poll of likely Caucus goers. Wonder why?

1. DeSantis won Florida by a wider margin than Trump.

Des Moines Register has always been the best poll in Iowa but even they are usually off by several points. Enthusiasm and organization matter there more than just about anywhere.

Today will be interesting. Both DeSantis and Trump have big events in Iowa and Iowa is playing in the B1G Championship. Interested to see how they go. If Trump is more than doubling up DeSantis we should certainly see it.
