DeSantis is just as strong if not stronger on all of those issues than Trump though and he is more conservative all the way around. He doesn't make shy away from his values either the way Trump does. He makes arguments and stands up for principles. Trump is a Populist and not a Conservative, that's not really debatable. That doesn't mean he doesn't have some conservative values and positions and that he hasn't accomplished some conservative things. It just means if you are a "real conservative" then you will vote for the more conservative candidate and that is DeSantis.

You can't have it both ways. Trump literally attacks DeSantis from the Left not the Right.

Also your comparison to "You ain't black" is beyond stupid. You can change your political views but you can't change your race.

DeSantis is often doing multiple events per day and none of them are meant to be huge events. Most will be used for retweets and future ads. The number of people viewing any one event isn't really relevant with his style of campaign, especially so far out from the Primaries. Only hardcore politicos are going to watch something like this or people that are in the area the event is happening.

Once again, not a big poll guy this early but DeSantis as +11 in Swing States is pretty eye popping.
